Con el Aspire ES1-731G, Acer ofrece un sencillo portátil de oficina de 17.3" para el uso doméstico. El procesador integrado es adecuado para las aplicaciones ofimáticas y de internet. Debido al núcleo gráfico dedicado, puede ejecutar algún que otro juego. Sin embargo, esto es válido principalmente para títulos que llevan ya varios años en el mercado. El portátil apenas se calienta y es silencioso sin importar la carga.

Gracias a un 1 TB de HDD tardarás en quedarte sin espacio de almacenamiento. Se puede cambiar el HDD por un SDD, pero precisa abrir la carcasa. El ordenador no trae escotilla de mantenimiento. El teclado ofrece una experiencia de mecanografiado decente y es adecuado para tareas de escritura regulares. El aguante de la batería es de poca importancia en un portátil de 17.3". El Aspire ni brilla ni decepciona en términos de aguante. Los resultados son los normales para un dispositivo de 17.3". A la vista del precio, el display del Acer está bien. Positivo: Acer también incluye dos años de garantía en este bajo segmento de precio.

La combinación de CPU débil y gráfica básica es interesante para usuarios que quieran jugar ocasionalmente a juegos que no son para nada recientes.

Nuestro modelo de pruebas cuesta unos 450 Euros. Esto es demasiado para un dispositivo de este nivel de rendimiento. En comparación, el Lenovo G70-80 80FF00K5GE (Core i3-5005U, GeForce 920M) costaba unos 480 Euros a fecha de análisis y trae un rendimiento significativamente mayor tanto en CPU como en GPU respecto al del Aspire.
