¿Es mejor el Yoga 900 que el Yoga 3 Pro? La respuesta es un rotundo sí, si bien no es el exitazo que el fabricante querría que creyeras. El convertible es ligeramente más grueso y pesado y el contraste del display no ha mejorado. La duración de la batería no tiene nada de especial para su categoría y tanto las teclas cortas como el pequeño touchpad harán que el usuario tenga que acostumbrarse. La falta de un puerto de salida de vídeo dedicada ciertamente molestará a los usuarios que usan monitores externos. Por último, la ralentización CPU presente en el Yoga 3 Pro ha llegado al Yoga 900 aparentemente sin modificaciones a pesar de la solución de ventilación más grande.

Aún teniendo en cuenta los defectos, el Yoga 900 sigue siendo un portátil sobresaliente que cimenta la posición de Lenovo en la cumbre de la categoría convertible - no desmontable. En comparación, los modelos competidores con bisagras de 360º como el Spectre 13 x360 ofrecen más características de conectividad por el mismo tamaño de pantalla, pero es mucho más pesado hasta el punto en el que el tablet resulta algo incómodo.

Si te parecen igualmente interesantes los modos portátil y tablet, el Yoga 900 es una compra recomendada. De lo contrario, Ultrabooks dedicados como Kirabook o Zenbook UX305 pueden ofrecer mayor duración de batería y más contraste. Si el modo tablet es el preferido, el Surface Pro 4 con Type Cover es la alternativa más cómoda.

El Yoga 900 es un pequeño paso en la dirección adecuada desde el Yoga 3 Pro. Su diseño ligero y delgado lo hacen uno de los mejores convertibles disponibles. Por lo demás, el sistema parece muy limitado y ofrece menos características de conectividad que un Ultrabook limitado.
