The Lenovo IdeaPad Z460 sells for a price of Rs. 34,999. For that price, you definitely get a trendy, smart-looking laptop with decent performance, excellent keyboard and touchpad, and great feature set and installed software. If only anything, the Lenovo IdeaPad Z460 comes with lesser RAM compared to some other laptops in our Top 5 Budget Laptops list. But if you want a decent laptop under Rs. 30,000, the Compaq Presario CQ42 is still a very good choice. In our list, the Compaq Presario CQ42-115TU manages top spot over the IdeaPad Z460 purely on price alone. But if you're willing to spend up to Rs. 35,000 for a home laptop, think beyond the Dell Inspiron 15R or the Acer Aspire 5740, and take a serious look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Z460. Lenovo Z560 Core i3 15-in Notebook Review

Many of my knocks against the Lenovo Z560 are against traits that it shares with the competition. Yes, the battery life is short, but that’s often the case with inexpensive 15.6” laptops packing Core i3 processors. Yes, the display resolution is low, but there are few laptops in this price range that offer an alternative. The only problem which may be unique to the Z560 is the annoying fan. On the other hand, the Z560’s best traits are not replicated by competitors. The keyboard and trackpad are outstanding for a consumer laptop at any price point, nevermind $700. The build quality is better than mainstream laptops from Toshiba, Samsung, or HP. The sound quality is completely adequate for a laptop system and the overall performance figures are solid. The Z560 can also serve as a competent multimedia laptop, just as the advertising suggests. The Z560 is far from the most exciting laptop around. Walking into a coffee shop with it feels like walking into a club with your grandfather’s suspenders on, but those who place function over form will enjoy the Z560 immensely.

The Lenovo Z560 is a very well rounded product. The build quality what makes this laptop stand out from the crowd. Many laptops in the price range have squishy keyboards (Toshiba), a flimsy chassis (ASUS/Acer) or god-awful trackpads (most HP laptops). The Lenovo feels more expensive than it is, and while it is not the cheapest Core i3 laptop on the market, it is close.

In terms of features, it is hard to find a better overall value than the Lenovo IdeaPad Z565. Priced at $650, the system comes with a larger 500GB hard drive and a dedicated graphics processor. Performance isn't that far off from Intel based laptops in the same price range and the keyboard is one of the best. The design of the system is somewhat dated looking and the battery life falls well short of the claims from Lenovo.

Lenovo: Lenovo Group Limited es el mayor fabricante de ordenadores personales de China y el cuarto del mundo. Lenovo produce sobremesas, portátiles, servidores, ordenadores de mano, equipamiento de imágenes y equipos de telefonía móvil. Lenovo también proporciona servicios de integración e información tecnológica, y su unidad QDI ofrece servicios de gestión de personal. Sus cuarteles ejecutivos están situados en China y USA. Está escriturada en Hong Kong. Lenovo se formó en 1984 como una división tecnológica de la Academia China de Ciencias. La compañía inicialmente comenzó como revendedora, distribuidora y más tarde CM para marcas extranjeras, incluyendo IBM, que entraban en el mercado chino. En 1990, Lenovo comenzó a fabricar sus propios PC's y en 1997 se convirtió en el líder de mercado en China. En 2004 Lenovo compró la línea negocios de PC de IBM por 1,25 miles de millones de dólares USA. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145:

NVIDIA GeForce 310M: La GeForce 310M es la sucesora de la GeForce G210M basada en el mismo chip con velocidades de reloj muy similares (velocidad de sombreado de 30MHz más para llegar a 1530MHz).

Estos procesadores gráficos pueden mostrar únicamente juegos antiguos, fluidamente.  Juegos actuales pueden ser presentados con detalles sustancialmente reducidos.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Tarjeta gráfica integrada en las nuevas CPUs Arrandale (Core i3 / i5 / i7 Dual Core). Dependiendo del modelo y de Turbo Boost, la GMA HD tiene una velocidad de reloj entre 166 y 766 MHz.

Intel Core i3:

330M: La Core i3-330M es una 350M con menor velocidad de reloj y por tanto carece tambien de la característica Turbo Boost y la velocidad máxima de reloj es de 2.13 GHz. Gracias a Hyperthreading, se pueden procesar 4 hilos de forma simultanea. Se incluyen en el paquete una tarjeta gráfica integrada (GMA HD 3150) y un controlador de memoria DDR3.

Intel Core i5:

450M: Debe ser similar al Core i5-520M, pero sin funciones AES.

Intel Pentium:

P6200: El Pentium P6200 es un CPU de nivel básico basado en el núcleo Arrandale. Comparado con el Core i3-330M no presenta HyperThreading, llevando a un rendimiento multi-threaded más lento.

13.3: Este formato de pantalla puede ser llamado formato - sub-portatil.
La ventaja es, que la sub-portátil puede tener dimensiones menores y puede ser cargada fácilmente. Además, la pequeña pantalla tiene la ventaja de que necesita de menos energía, lo que mejora el tiempo de ejecución de la batería y como consecuencia la movilidad. La desventaja es que la lectura de textos es muy exhaustiva para los ojos. Altas resoluciones difícilmente pueden ser usadas.

14.0: Una pantalla de 14 pulgadas es una mezcla entre los formatos pequeños de sub-portátiles y las pantallas de 15 pulgadas estándar.
