Primeras Impresiones: Google Nexus 9 en análisis

Dos se convierten en uno. Esta vez el tablet de Google maś reciente lo produce HTC, reemplazando los modelos Nexus 7 y Nexus 10. Es el primer producto con el nuevo Android 5.0 Lollipop, y tiene muy buena pinta. El nuevo sistema operativo ahora también soporta procesadores de 64-bit, y el Nexus 9 obviamente usa uno.

Google presenta un potente tablet en cooperación con HTC, lo que crea mucha expectación dados los excelentes predecesores. Sin embargo, el precio es el primer pequeño defecto. 

El Nexus 9 es ligeramente más voluminoso que sus rivales, pero el diseño sigue siendo bonito. Sin embargo, el primer uso práctico ya ha revelado algunos problemas en la calidad de la construcción. El display tiene una altísima resolución y es muy brillante, pero el contraste podría ser mejor. La cámara sólo ofrece las funciones básicas, pero la resolución al menos excede la de las otras tablets, y también tiene flash LED.

La Nvidia Tegra K1 (Denver) causa una primera impresión genial con su excelente rendimiento. Tenemos que comprobar una posible ralentización de la GPU en nuestro análisis final. También nos gustó mucho Android 5.0 Lollipop, que por ahora funciona sin retrasos visibles.

También echamos a faltar una ampliación del almacenamiento por microSD, especialmente dado que la Nexus 9 sólo se vende con 16 GB o 32 GB de almacenamiento interno. El tablet lo tendrá difícil para conseguir una valoración muy buena. También es una pena que buenos dispositivos como el Nexus 7 hayan desaparecido por completo de la cartera del fabricante americano.
