Although I’m pretty sure that the battery issue has something to do with drivers / Windows / bios, currently this is the situation, and Eurocom reply to me didn’t unveil any future plans to handle it (although they might be working on a fix).

However, its short battery life and somewhat plain chassis give us pause. To keep things in perspective, the Alienware M17x costs $700 less, but offers a sleeker design, comparable performance, longer battery life and sweeter backlighting features.

AMD Radeon HD 7970M: Dos tarjetas de vídeo HD 7970M en modo Crossfire (a menudo también llamada de HD 6990M CF).
Estas tarjetas también deben ser capaces de aguantar todos los juegos actuales, pero la mayoría de ellos en configuraciones de detalles medios y bajos y con bajas resoluciones. Juegos más antiguos, o menos exigentes todavía pueden ser jugados con buena calidad de gráficos.

3920XM: El CPU Ivy Bridge móvil más veloz (y el CPU móvil más veloz de todos) en el momento de su llegada (Abril 2012) y con frecuencia de 2,9 GHz con soporte para Turbo Boost hasta 3,8 GHz. Ofrece un GPU integrado HD Graphics 4000 funcionando a 650-1300 MHz con un controlador de memoria DDR3 de dos canales. Comparado con el otro quad-core éste tiene un TDP 10W más alto, de 55W.
