Un Snapdragon 778G para el móvil que es sabe a poco, pero le da un gran rendimiento en el día a día. No creo que mucha gente vaya a querer jugar a títulos exigentes en un móvil como este, porque hay móviles específicos para jugones con mejor rendimiento gráfico por un precio similar. Aunque esos móviles, claro está, flojean en las cámaras o el diseño, por ejemplo. Sea como sea, realmente no puedo ponerle ninguna otra pega a este modelo 70 de Honor. La pantalla es excelente, amplia, con buen brillo y color, y para consumir multimedia me parece sensacional, incluso para contenido en HDR. Las cámaras probablemente sean lo mejor que tiene, tanto la principal como la secundaria, porque hacen una labor excelente tanto de día como de noche. En este terreno se pueden contar con los dedos de una mano los móviles que son similares o mejores en su punto de precio. El diseño ya he dicho varias veces que me gusta. Por eso es un móvil muy recomendable cuando quieres salirte de lo que es estrictamente la gama media.

Mi Experiencia Con El Móvil Honor 70 Tras Más De Una Semana De Uso

Queda claro que Honor quiere conquistar el mercado. Lanza a precio de gama media un terminal con algunas aspiraciones de una gama superior. Los puntos fuertes del Honor 70 se los lleva su generosa pantalla OLED de 6,67 pulgadas por lo resolutiva y cumplidora. Lo mismo le ocurre a la cámara principal de 54 megapíxeles y sensor Sony IMX800. Aunque el premio gordo se lo lleva su autonomía que cumple con las exigencias de un usuario intensivo como un servidor. Así que es más que suficiente para el usuario medio. Aunque hay peros, claro está. El rendimiento es bueno, pero no se nota afinado. Lo más probable es que la capa de personalización o el software que llega en el terminal tenga mucho que ver. También falta pulir los extras del apartado fotográfico más allá del sensor principal. Aparte de esto, el Honor 70 es una buena opción para los usuarios que quieran un móvil solvente, con un diseño llamativo y cuyo presupuesto se quede por debajo de los 600 euros.

Honor 70, análisis: el diseño de la gama alta llega a la gama media

Honor ha creado una alternativa muy válida a la gama media de 2022. El Honor 70 presume de buenas cámaras (aunque sobre una de las tres traseras), de una excelente pantalla y de un muy buen rendimiento. Pero sobre todo destaca en el diseño. Y no es casualidad que esos sean los tres puntos en los que más incide la empresa a la hora de vender este terminal. El precio de este modelo es de 549 euros para la versión de 128 GB y de 599 euros para la versión de 256 GB. Eso sí, como promoción de lanzamiento ambas versiones llevarán como regalo unos HONOR Earbuds 2 Lite. Se pondrá a la venta el 5 de septiembre y estará disponible con todos los operadores. Si consiguen hacer reconocible este modelo con el marketing adecuado estamos ante un rival muy competente del Pixel 6a, Xiaomi 12 Lite o Nothing phone (1) para la mayoría del público, esa mayoría que no es especialmente fan de las versiones puras de Android.

Es, por tanto, una opción interesante para aquellos usuarios que busquen un smartphone bonito, poco pesado y delgado, y que ofrezca un equilibrio en el resto de sus áreas. No obstante, debemos tener en cuenta que por este precio hay alternativas muy tentadoras. La que, en mi opinión, es más interesante, es el Google Pixel 6, cuyo precio se sitúa actualmente sobre los 500 euros y que, si bien no destaca en diseño, sí ofrece un apartado fotográfico mucho más avanzado, así como un software más limpio y funciones extra que este Honor 70 no tiene, como la carga inalámbrica. El Noting Phone (1), que además tiene el mismo SoC y también destaca por su diferencial diseño, también podría resultar otra opción interesante.

Y al comienzo del análisis te decía que es un móvil que te provoca una sonrisa desde el primer minuto porque, si te gustaban los Huawei, aquí tienes más de lo mismo, básicamente un "qué habría pasado si Huawei no estuviera vetada". Veremos lo que tarda Honor en encontrar su camino tanto en diseño como en software, pero creo que están haciendo las cosas bien hasta ahora y, hasta que llegue el cambio, mejor mantener lo que funciona que intentar algo nuevo sin tener unas bases claras.

El Honor 70 llega como el buque insignia de la marca para este año, su apuesta fuerte para Europa. Pero su liga no está entre los tótems de 1.000 euros con lo último en hardware, sino con esa estirpe de gama media que busca dar mucho de lo que ésos proporcionan, pero a un precio menor. ¿Lo consigue el Honor 70? En general cumple, nos da una buena experiencia y hay aspectos notables como la autonomía y la visualización de la pantalla. Pero nos deja un poco a medias en fotografía y sobre todo en audio. Cabe destacar también la buena construcción y que es ligero para sus dimensiones, lo cual puede ser de interés para quienes busquéis una pantalla grande que pueda pesar algo menos (y sin reducir la batería). Eso sí, quizás la opción en blanco (Crystal Silver) puede ser algo más limpia que el tono negro.

I have been very impressed with the Honor 70 and I have been happy with my time using the phone. I think it is going to be popular with those in the market for a premium-looking midi-tier phone that doesn’t have a mid-tier price point. it does a lot of things right from the stunning design to the great cameras and smooth stutter-free performance. I have even been mostly pleased with Magic UI which has traditionally been a pain point for me. Who would I recommend this phone to then? Honestly, this is a phone that can capture such a broad segment of the market it is difficult to say. Howver one thing i can say with certainty is that if you are a keen mobile photographer then there is a lot on this phone to be excited about and you will enjoy using its features especially if you are someone who uses a lot of social media for sharing those photos and videos that you create. Another segment is style-conscious and up-and-coming influencers as they are able to afford a phone that looks like it should be in the next tier and for the most part, it will perform in that higher their as well. Lastly, for anyone who wants their phone to look good and make a subtle but strong statement then this may be a phone worth considering as it is certainly one of the nicer-looking handsets I have seen this year especially if shiny things are your cup of tea (go for the Crystal Silver one as it is stunning).

The Honor 70 showed a decent autonomy experience. Its performance during the Typical Usage Scenario (TUS) was above average, with good night management (only 1.67% of power lost per night). The experience was above average also during the on-the-go tests, especially when scrolling on social apps and using the camera. In calibrated mode, the performances were satisfactory across all use cases, with decent autonomy when gaming and streaming videos. When it came to charging, the 66W charger provided about 6 hours and 30 minutes of autonomy after a 5-minute boost. It took 31 minutes and 40 seconds to fill the battery to 80% of its 4800 mAh capacity, and 1 hour and 13 minutes to fully charge it. We also measured that the time between the 100% displayed on the screen and the true full charge, which is indicated by a drop of power consumption from the outlet, was really long at 28 min. In addition, the residual consumption of the charger was higher than average. The charge efficiency, as well as the power adapter efficiency, was good.

All this means Honor’s made one of the best midrange smartphones out now, despite its shortcomings.

If Honor’s next mid-range phone can boost the software promise and shrink the price, it will have a real winner on its hands.

The Honor 70 is merely just a mid-range phone with some additional extras, and that means it’s not a particularly unique or special smartphone. It does a good job at pretty much everything, but there are phones that are a whole lot better than it at various different tasks. Want a good camera? Get a Pixel 6a. Want cleaner software (though with a bit of an unproven track record)? Then the Nothing Phone 1 might be worth it. Then there’s obviously the likes of the OnePlus Nord 2T and the litany of options from Poco and other device manufacturers, and you end up in a situation where the Honor 70 just seems overpriced. There’s not a whole lot more to really add, to be honest. The phone is a good one, but it costs a lot for what you get. Why spend so much on a phone that’s only a little bit better than some phones that cost 20% less? If this phone ever goes on sale, I’d consider it then, but otherwise, the other phones that it competes against are already available for a lot lower price. Google services and the echos of a Huawei-driven smartphone aren’t enough to coast off of when commanding a premium price — there needs to be more. Honor does well with what it has, but to charge a price that much higher than the rest of the space, it needs to do more.

Most of the Honor 70’s features are good enough. Its cameras are good enough, its software is good enough, and its length of software support is good enough. There are even some aspects of the phone that are better than good enough, like battery life, charging speeds, and the responsiveness of its display. (Although I wish it weren’t curved.) But with a starting price of £480, £80 more expensive than several other very capable midrange handsets that have been released this year, “good enough” isn’t really good enough to justify a purchase. Google’s Pixel 6A is more affordable, with better cameras, longer software support, and an official IP rating for dust and water resistance. Samsung’s Galaxy A53 is more affordable and offers a similarly lengthy software support period and a fantastic, flat display. The iPhone SE 5G is more affordable and offers access to the iOS app ecosystem and wireless charging. The Nothing Phone 1 has fun flashing lights. Unless you definitely need an IP rating, I don’t think the Honor 70 has any serious flaws or deal-breakers.

There’s nothing wrong with the Honor 70 at all, but I really can’t find a reason to recommend it over any other similarly priced phone. It’s even quite difficult to recommend it over the currently much cheaper Honor 50 if you really must have an Honor phone. The saturated smartphone market makes it hard for brands to do something different, but the Honor 70 is the company on autopilot. If you’ve got 500 pounds or around $600 to spend on a new phone, the choice is huge. We’d recommend the Google Pixel 6, to wait to see the Google Pixel 7, or to spend less and get the Google Pixel 6a. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is a great buy, I recently liked the Oppo Reno 8 Pro, the OnePlus Nord 2T and the Realme GT Neo 3T are well priced, and the Nothing Phone 1 is totally different from anything else out there at the moment. Shop around or trade in a phone with Samsung directly, and the Galaxy S22 even becomes an option too. When I swap my SIM card from the Honor 70 into another phone, I don’t think I’ll remember the Honor 70, and that’s probably the harshest criticism of any current device.

The Honor 70 is a really nice all-rounder with an ultrawide camera that stands out from the crowd, unrivaled selfie game, fast charging, a nice display and a llightweight design with premium feel. But just like its predecessor, the price is what keeps us from recommending it. There are many options with a similar feature set asking a lot less and there are also powerful flagship killers at the Honor 70's price. Honor's offering has a few key disadvantages that can't be overlooked - less than ideal chipset for the asking price, no stereo speakers (this one isn't even loud enough), not the best battery life overall, no ingress protection and the software still feels rather unfinished with aggressive background app management. It can potentially become a sound choice for many once the price drops in the following months, but for now, your hard-earned money may be better spent elsewhere.

The Honor 70 looks like an interesting mix. The compromises are clear – there’s no wireless charging, the phone has a plastic frame, it isn’t IP68 dust and water protected, and it doesn’t have top-tier power or a telephoto camera. The Honor 70 smartphone comes with 5G support at an expected price of $386 (Rs 29,990 in India) approx. As for the primary specs, let’s start with the display that renders a 6.67-inches OLED display panel with a 120 refresh rate. Although, there’s no information about gorilla glass protection. The Honor 70 phone renders on the latest Android 12 OS with the Magic UI 6.1 user interface. For performance a 6nm – Qualcomm SM7325-AE Snapdragon 778G+ 5G chipset powers the device and can reach up to a max of 2.5GHz clocking speed. The Honor 70 is available in 8GB/12GB RAM with 256GB/512GB internal storage. A triple rear camera is provided in the Honor 70 smartphones where a 54MP main lens, 50MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP depth lens. On the front side, you get a 32 MP selfie camera for better photography. On the other hand, you can record up to 4K videos with gyro-EIS support from the main camera. For security, the device offers an under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has a Li-Ion 4800 mAh battery with a 66W Fast charging and 5W Reverse charging support.

Chip gráfico para smartphones y tabletas integrado en el SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. Qualcomm afirma que es un 40% más rápido que el Adreno 620.

Algunos juegos actuales no fastidiosos pueden ser jugados fluidamente con pequeños detalles.

SD 778G+ 5G:

Rápido SoC ARM de gama media con 8 núcleos de CPU Kryo 670 (cuatro núcleos rápidos ARM Cortex-A78 de hasta 2,5 GHz y cuatro núcleos pequeños ARM Cortex-A55 de hasta 1,9 GHz) y un módem 5G X53 integrado (hasta 3300 Mbps de descarga). El SoC se fabrica en el moderno proceso de 6 nm de TSMC. En comparación con la variante anterior no plus, el 778G+ ofrece núcleos de CPU con una velocidad de reloj 100 MHz superior.
