The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 is a laptop that only makes sense if you realize the $1,099 MSRP isn’t its real price. That full price is silly. At $649, you’re getting a 16-inch 2-in-1 machine with a 360-degree hinge for not much more than a normal 16-inch clamshell laptop. You can have the 2-in-1 experience and even enjoy pen input if you buy a pen separately.But the display, weight, battery life, and lack of an included pen mean this isn’t a 2-in-1 experience intended for artists who care about serious color reproduction. It’s also not for workers who want a pen-friendly device they can carry around all day. It’s decent as a casual 2-in-1 experience. However, the position of the speakers is a real problem. This machine may be nice for video streaming in convertible mode, but you’ll want headphones to hear what you’re watching.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 16 Gen 10 just feels like it has nothing going for it. Its design is forgettable and doesn’t feel good in the hands (or on the wrists). The display is about as bad as Lenovo can get away with. The ports are several generations behind the times. While the performance looks bright at times, it’s weighed back down by the severely lacking graphics performance. And all that is tied up into a big and heavy machine that doesn’t even pack a long-lasting battery. It’s just fumble after fumble, and the only nod to quality Lenovo seems to have made is an aluminum lid. At its full price, just don’t buy this laptop. If you need a machine with a big touchscreen that’ll do the basics, maybe consider this one if Lenovo cuts it to $500, and even then, make sure there’s not a better deal on something else first.

Intel Graphics 4-Core iGPU (Arrow Lake): Tarjeta gráfica integrada basada en la arquitectura Xe LPG (similar a las GPU dedicadas Arc, pero centrada en la eficiencia). Proporciona 4 núcleos Xe (64 motores vectoriales Xe) y 4 unidades de trazado de rayos.

Estas tarjetas también deben ser capaces de aguantar todos los juegos actuales, pero  la mayoría de ellos en configuraciones de detalles medios y bajos y con bajas resoluciones. Juegos más antiguos, o menos exigentes todavía pueden ser jugados con buena calidad de gráficos.

Ultra 7 255U: Un chip Meteor Lake de gama media que debutó en diciembre de 2023. Este procesador Core Ultra de primera generación ha venido a sustituir a los procesadores Core de 13ª generación; dispone de 12 núcleos (2 + 8 + 2) y 14 hilos. Sus núcleos de rendimiento, de los que hay 2, funcionan hasta a 4,8 GHz mientras que sus núcleos eficientes, de los que hay 10 (8 núcleos principales más 2 extra que se encuentran en la isla de bajo consumo) funcionan hasta a 3,8 GHz.
