Battery life is a let-down, but otherwise it’s a great competitor to Google’s Chromebook Pixel - and unlike that grand folly it includes an operating system that actually works.

Initially, we were sceptical about the idea of a touchscreen laptop that doesn't fold into a tablet. And yet, the Aspire S7-391 convinced us that it will win some people over with its good processing power and touchscreen that's more for occasional use than full-on tableting. The biggest issues with this ultrabook are the audio components and fan noise.

All in all, the S7-391 is a nice laptop to use and show off. It would be nice to have an 8GB option and better battery life, but neither is essential for the vast majority of users. The design and overall usability are top notch. And it's an eye-catching system, sure to draw attention whenever you pull it out.
