ASUSTeK Computer Inc. es un importante fabricante taiwanés de hardware informático con sede en Taipei, fundado en 1989. Comparada con la 9800M GTX, la GTX 260M está fabricada en 55nm y por tanto con mayor velocidad de reloj.
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M: El mismo chip de la GTS 260M pero con índices de frecuencias más altas (412 contra 396 Gigaflops según Nvidia). Brinda una rendimiento de alto nivel con memoria gráfica GDDR5.

Intel Core i7:
720QM: El Core i7-720QM es el Core i7 Quad Core más lento en 2009 y tiene velocidades entre 1.6 y 2.8 GHz (debido al modo Turbo). Por tanto, combina las ventajas de una CPU de cuatro nucleos lenta con las de un solo nucleo. Comparada con las rápidas CPUs Core i7, el 720QM solo presenta 6MB de cache de nivel 3.
Intel Core i5:
430M: El Core i5-430M es una CPU de doble nucleo que presenta solo 3 MB de cache de nivel 3 (comparado con el I7-640M) y con velocidades de reloj entre 2.26 y 2.53 GHz (Modo Turbo). Además en el 430M faltan VT-d trusted execution y AES. Gracias a Hyperthreading, se pueden procesar 4 hilos de forma simultanea. Se incluyen en el paquete una tarjeta gráfica integrada (Intel HD Graphics a 500-733 MHz) y controlador de memoria DDR3.
