This is really expensive for the average joe, but then this is not designed for the average joe. This is not to say that it's value for money or anything; it just is what it is. There's no doubt that the level of details and customizations is very well done and it certainly feels like a premium device. But leaving out the high price for a moment, it's far from perfect. If you're going to be charging a premium then I want backlit keys as well. The trackpad could have been designed better as well and the surface is not conducive for tracking. And finally the battery life is not the best, but then again you don't buy a Lamborghini for the awesome mileage, so I guess that's forgivable.

For the money you have to invest in this netbook (if it falls under the netbook category at all anymore), you can buy a serious 15” model with a moderately strong configuration. On the other hand, this model isn’t supposed to sell in millions anyway. It’s a very specific concept catering to a fairly limited population (automobile industry enthusiasts), and these won’t be let down in terms of performance (we take design as a given).

Algunos juegos actuales no fastidiosos pueden ser jugados fluidamente con pequeños detalles.

Intel Atom:
La gama Intel Atom es un microprocesador de 64 bits para portátiles, MID’s o UMPC’s baratos y pequeños. Lo especial de esta nueva arquitectura es la ejecución “in order” (en lugar de la usual y más rápida ejecución “out of order”). Por tanto, el número de transistores del Atom es mucho menor y por tanto más barato de producir.
D2700: CPU Atom dual core para Nettop/Desktop con una tarjeta de video integrada PowerVR SGX545 y un decodificador de video. Comparada con la Serie N, la Serie D no posee Speedstep.
