Our test configuration is harder to recommend at its full price of nearly $3,000, so it's best to wait for HP's revolving and sizable discount to land on it if your purchase doesn't qualify for a volume discount.

EN→ESAs I said up top, HP’s latest laptops are quite impressive. I’ve reviewed several HP laptops over the year, but the OmniBook and EliteBook from the last few months are by far some of the best I’ve seen from the company. The design and build quality are excellent, the performance is solid. Coupled with the excellent keyboard, there’s a ton that’s great about this laptop. The most significant issue I had with the EliteBook was the battery life, though it can be improved by adjusting some settings. Still, it’d be nice if HP included a larger cell. Beyond that, it’d be nice to have a better webcam, especially in a work-focused laptop that will likely see a lot of use for virtual meetings. All this said, HP’s hardware is in a great spot, and I can’t wait to see where the company goes next. It has an excellent foundation to work from.

EN→ESThe HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is a nice laptop: solid build quality, beautiful OLED screen, reasonable all-around Lunar Lake performance, and serious battery life. That’s without even considering the AI features and if I have to evaluate a laptop based on its AI features, this is one of the better packages I’ve seen so far. HP definitely made a strong effort here. Still, this is just such an expensive machine. At an MSRP of nearly $2,500, you could choose from so many other Lunar Lake-powered PCs. Consider the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro, for example. It’s substantially cheaper and has much longer battery life. Furthermore, if you really are looking for an AI workstation, this machine isn’t it.

EN→ESOverall, I have always loved the previous HP line that preceded the EliteBook Ultra, the Dragonfly line. That lineup of HP business machines was always fantastic, and the company has done that heritage proud with the EliteBook that has replaced it. The EliteBook Ultra G1i 14 packs in a ton of premium hardware features, premium security features, premium design features, and a slew of collaboration features that are focused on the business user. All of this combined makes for a solid laptop that’s sure to endure what a prosumer will put this thing through. I have zero issue recommending the EliteBook Ultra G1i 14 to any prosumer in the market for an ultraportable 14″ business laptop. It has all the chops you need and more.

EN→ESThe HP EliteBook Ultra G1i AI features a great display, an impressively thin and light design, and a fantastic keyboard and touchpad, but its middling performance and battery life hold it back from being a stand-out business laptop. I enjoyed using the EliteBook, but the price makes it difficult to recommend when there are other laptops at this price or less that deliver better battery life and performance, like the Asus ExpertBook P5 and the MacBook Pro M4. That's especially true considering the EliteBook includes only 512GB of storage, which is low for a $2,000 laptop. The EliteBook Ultra G1i AI isn't a bad buy, it's just not the best value for your money. If you can find it on sale, it could be a good pick for some people, especially if display quality is a top priority for you. Otherwise, many business users might get better value from the Asus ExpertBook P5 or one of the best business laptops.

Intel Arc 140V: Un adaptador gráfico integrado bastante rápido que, según se informa, emplean ciertos procesadores Intel Lunar Lake. El 140V tiene 8 núcleos de arquitectura Xe² que funcionan a una velocidad de hasta 2.050 MHz y 8 unidades de trazado de rayos; es compatible con DirectX 12 Ultimate y también admite todos los códecs de vídeo modernos. Si las recientes filtraciones de las puntuaciones de los bancos de pruebas sirven de indicación, su rendimiento en juegos será algo mejor que el de la GeForce MX570.

Core Ultra 7 268V: El segundo procesador más rápido de la familia Lunar Lake en su lanzamiento. Se trata de un SoC para su uso en tabletas y portátiles del tipo más delgado que cuenta con 4 núcleos E totalmente nuevos y 4 núcleos P algo nuevos que funcionan a una velocidad de hasta 5,0 GHz, junto con la nueva y prometedora iGPU Arc 140V y 32 GB de RAM LPDDR5x-8533 integrada. También se incluye un nuevo motor neuronal de 48 TOPS y compatibilidad con TB 4 y SSD PCIe 5. Es poco probable que el 268V establezca nuevos récords de rendimiento. Esperamos que ofrezca un rendimiento multinúcleo a la par con el Core i7-1260P y el Core 5 120U.
