The Honor 500 is baffling me a bit. Usually, when a phone is this thin and light, you expect the battery life to take a massive hit. But somehow, Honor managed to stuff a massive 8000mAh Qinghai Lake battery inside a body that feels as light as air. It’s genuinely one of the most impressive engineering feats I’ve seen in a mid-range device this year. Design-wise, they’ve nailed the "Super Standard" concept. We’re looking at a unified 6.55-inch display across the whole series, which is arguably the sweet spot for size.

SD 8 Elite: SoC (System on a Chip) de gama alta para smartphones que se presentó a finales de 2024. Integra dos rápidos núcleos Oryon Gen 2 Prime Cores de hasta 4,32 GHz y 6 núcleos Oryon Gen 2 Performance Cores más pequeños de hasta 3,53 GHz.

El Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735) es un SoC (sistema en un chip) de gama alta que se utiliza en smartphones y tabletas de gama alta. Es oficialmente la alternativa más barata al Snapdragon 8 Elite y se dice que es hasta un 49% más rápido que su predecesor, el Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. La parte de la CPU consta de cuatro clústeres: el primero está formado por un núcleo principal (Cortex X4) de hasta 3,2 GHz, el segundo por tres núcleos de rendimiento de hasta 3,0 GHz (Cortex A720).
