The Infinix Hot 20 Play works out just fine. The handset scores well on key aspects such as the battery life, display, and cameras, but could do with better performance. The Infinix Hot 20 Play would have been a good everyday-use device for everyone had it gone with a better chipset and a near stock-Android software.

The Infinix Hot 20 Play is a decent entry-level smartphone on a budget. You get a good build quality with a nice textured design. The battery backup is the real highlight of this phone, and it does stand tall with that. You will easily get two days of battery backup from this phone. I wish the phone came with an 18W fast charger in the box. Other than that, the day-to-day performance of the phone feels a bit sluggish to me. It can only handle one task at a time. Also, just forget about intensive gaming. The main camera takes decent shots for its price, but the colour accuracy could have been better. The 90Hz display is just good enough for casual use, considering you won’t be able to take advantage of that high refresh rate. All in all, the Infinix Hot 20 Play can be a good option if you are looking to start your smartphone journey or want a phone to gift your parents for casual use.
