At this point the CULV market isn’t packed, but there are some other strong players, including systems from MSI, HP, Lenovo, and Asus that are appealing. Amongst these the T135 mostly stands out for it’s pricing, but this comes along with some troublesome issues such as the weak speakers and floppy hinges. In total these might have consumers wishing they had spent a bit more. Even so, it’s a good computer at a nice price so it’s worth investigating if you need portability on a budget.

The only real downsides to this notebook are its laggy touchpad which seems to be driver related, and the hard drive bay secured with Torx screws

For slightly less money than many of its competitors, it offers better performance and style. The T135 isn’t perfect, however; we’re not crazy about the keyboard and touchpad, and while the battery life is long, other ULV notebooks last even longer. Overall, we prefer the ASUS UL30A because it lasts almost 10 hours on a charge, and offers better ergonomics and 180GB of more storage space for even less money ($679 street price). Nevertheless, the T135 is a strong choice for people looking for an inexpensive ultraportable.

Relativamente barata. Bien diseñada pese al costo. Excelente duración de la pila. Liviana y fina. Consume la energía con eficiencia.

While we have already reviewed two different versions of Toshiba's Windows 7 entry to the thin-and-light laptop landscape, we were pleasantly surprised by this retail-only configuration. This is not uncommon; many of the configurations you see in stores are subtle tweaks of models that manufacturers sell online, trading flexibility for a better price. For a budget Windows 7 thin-and-light that won't need to recharge often, you could do a lot worse than the Toshiba Satellite T135-S1309.

Toshiba: Toshiba Corporation es un conglomerado o grupo tecnológico japonés. La empresa se fundó en 1939 y en 1978 Toshiba se convirtió en el nombre oficial de la empresa. Los productos y servicios de la empresa incluyen sistemas de energía, infraestructuras industriales y sociales, ascensores y escaleras mecánicas, componentes electrónicos, semiconductores, discos duros, impresoras, baterías, iluminación, logística y tecnología de la información. Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD: GPU integrado (memoria compartida) em el chipset GM45 (Montevina). Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500M: El Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD (en ocasiones llamado también GMA X4500 HD u otras combinaciones) es un adaptador gráfico integrado compatible con DirectX 10 en los chipset GM45, GE45 y GS45 de la plataforma Centrino 2 (Montevina). El chip no tiene memoria de video dedicada, pero toma memoria dinámicamente de la principal (hasta 384 MB).
La versión a 400 MHz de la 4500MHD encontrada en los chipsets GL40 y GS40, se llama GMA 4500M (sin el HD) y tiene un peor rendimiento en juegos 3D y descodificación de video.

Intel Pentium Dual Core: El procesador Double Core con una muy buena relación de rendimiento a consumo de corriente. Los 2 MB L2 Cache son utilizados juntos al doble. La capacidad máxima de 31 watts es únicamente 4 watts mayor que la Pentium M (predecesor).
SU4100: Procesador dual core de nivel básico para sub-portátiles delgados y livianos. Debido a l nombre de Pentium, el CPU puede tener menos recursos de ahorro de energía que los procesadores Core 2 Duo.
Intel Pentium:
SU2700: CPU de un núcleo de nivel básico con menos estados de ahorro de energía que la línea Core y debido a la baja frecuencia (1,3 GHz) no es muy veloz. Directamente soldado al la placa madre y, por lo tanto, para portátiles delgados y livianos (clase CULV).
