EN→ES Archive.org versionThis is a tricky conclusion to write, because as always there’s a lot of concluding that has to be done. On the one hand, we have Intel’s Clover Trail platform. On the other we have Acer’s Iconia W510 tablet itself. And on a magical third hand we have to conclude on behalf of Microsoft’s Windows 8. Clover Trail is good. I only have NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 to compare it to at this point, and there Intel wins hands down.

It’s an attractive, well-built device that sets itself apart from rivals by being smaller and lighter, as well as offering a unique swivelling hinge for its keyboard dock. Combined with a low price of around £500, it looks like it will be a great choice, though we’ll let you know our definitive verdict in the full review.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Tarjeta gráfica integrada en las nuevas CPUs Arrandale (Core i3 / i5 / i7 Dual Core). Dependiendo del modelo y de Turbo Boost, la GMA HD tiene una velocidad de reloj entre 166 y 766 MHz.
Estos procesadores gráficos pueden mostrar únicamente juegos antiguos, fluidamente. Juegos actuales pueden ser presentados con detalles sustancialmente reducidos.

Intel Atom:
La gama Intel Atom es un microprocesador de 64 bits para portátiles, MID’s o UMPC’s baratos y pequeños. Lo especial de esta nueva arquitectura es la ejecución “in order” (en lugar de la usual y más rápida ejecución “out of order”). Por tanto, el número de transistores del Atom es mucho menor y por tanto más barato de producir.
Z2760: Soc con procesador Atom dual core integrado con frecuencias de 1,8 GHz (sólo Turbo?), un GPU basado en PowerVR SGX 545 de 533 MHz y un controlador de memoria de dos canales LPDDR2-800.
