Intel Z2760

El Intel Atom Z2760 es un SoC (System on a Chip) con el nombre código Cloverview y parte de la plataforma Clovertrail. El Z2760 es un SoC de un chip e integra un procesador Atom dual core con frecuencias máximas de 1,8 GHz. Gracias al Hyper-Threading se puede ejecutar 4 threads en los dos núcleos (para una mejor eficiencia). Aunque los núcleos Atom teóricamente soportan 64 bits, el Z2760 sólo está especificado para sistemas operativos de 32 bits.

El rendimiento del procesador está en el nivel de otros procesadores Atom dual core de 1,8 GHz como el Atom D525. Por tanto, las taras exigentes como la edición de videos HD es mucho para os lentos núcleos del CPU.

La tarjeta de video integrada se basa en un diseño PowerVR SGX 545 (soporte para DirectX 9_3) y tiene una frecuencia de 533 MHz. El decodificador y codificador de video también pertenecen a Imagination Technologies.

Además, un controlador de memoria de dos canales LPDDR2 está integrado para un máximo de 2 GB de RAM.

Todo el SoC fue optimizado para eficiencia energética y bajo consumo de energía. Es producido con un proceso LP (low power) de 32nm. Por tanto, el consumo de energía está en la misma liga de algunos SoCs ARM, como el Tegra 3 y es posible el resfriamiento pasivo.
