Performance-wise, this remains a beast and one of the most powerful 15-inch notebooks out there, while it still runs hot and noisy on the Turbo profile, especially when sitting flat on a desk. Add in the rather small battery and the certain lacks in modern features, and this might not be as competitive this year as a performance-focused all-rounder, unless Asus compensates for its quirks with more aggressive pricing.

Procesador basado en la arquitectura Comet Lake para portátiles grandes y pesados. Integra ocho núcleos de procesador con una frecuencia de 3,1 a 5 GHz que admiten HyperThreading. Fabricado en un proceso mejorado de 14nm (14nm++). En el momento del anuncio, el i9-10980HK es la CPU Comet Lake-H más rápida y la CPU para portátiles más rápida del mercado.
