Análisis para el HP Envy x360 15-bq100au

EN→ES Archive.org versionIt’s comforting to know that Intel finally has a competitor when it comes to mobile CPUs. Intel has had it too good for too long and competition from AMD is just what this segment of the market needs to keep it interesting. When it comes to pure grunt, the Ryzen 5 2500U keeps up with Intel’s latest and the Radeon Vega 8 GPU, whilst not a gaming barnstormer, can play along. Whilst the Ryzen CPU is great, HP’s choice of chassis to place it in, is not as good. It’s heavy, contains a small battery, and has difficulty extracting all of the the heat this powerful CPU spits out.

EN→ES Archive.org versionIt sounds pretty obvious, but the Ryzen-powered HP Envy x360 is a PC for those who want a powerful PC that they can take with them. The gains offered by AMD’s new Mobile Ryzen platform here aren’t universal or without caveats. It won’t quite cut it as a gaming laptop but it does serve to address some of the underlying weaknesses of the Envy x360 and serve to propel its existing strengths to new heights.

AMD Vega 8:
