Tras varias semanas usando de forma intensiva la Galaxy Tab S11, me resulta imposible decir que sea una mala tablet. El problema, en mi opinión, está en que me cuesta pensar a qué publico va dirigida. Si atendemos a su hardware y precio, claramente van a por el sector profesional, ¿pero de qué tipo? Si es para ilustradores u otros creativos similares, la pantalla y el S Pen serán idóneos, aunque no hay mucha abundancia de herramientas creativas en la Google Play Store. Si es para alguien que busque tomar notas y usar apps ofimáticas, aquí sí veo más recorrido, aunque quizás modelos como la Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ cumplen igual y por un menor precio. Si encuentras una oferta o sencillamente te quieres dar el capricho, disfrutarás de una tablet a la que me ha costado sacar pegas más allá de lo ya citado. Pantalla de notable alto, rendimiento suficiente para cualquier tarea exigente y encima con autonomía de sobra como para olvidarnos de cargarla durante unos días.

Samsung has slapped on its usual feature-filled OneUI launcher, plus all those AI features you either love or couldn't care less about. It boasts some very decent battery life and has one of the better displays on a compact Android tablet. However, when you consider previous Galaxy Tab S devices, it's not an enormous improvement. In fact, you should probably not consider upgrading from the older Galaxy Tab S9, especially if you experience no outstanding issues with that one. Overall, we'd recommend the Galaxy Tab S11 to anyone willing to experience Android and Samsung's latest One UI on a slightly larger screen than the average Samsung device and especially to users who enjoy experiencing media in the best way possible.

You will have noticed that there’s no Tab S11 Plus this year and that’s a shame because it provided a direct rival for Apple’s 13in iPad Pro tablet. With that gone, the iPad Pro’s closest rival, certainly among Samsung Tablets, is the rather large Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which is considerably less wieldy. Still, given that it is slated to cost the same as the iPad Pro at £1,199 you could argue that you’re getting rather more tablet for your money. That’s especially true as Samsung continues to include its S Pen stylus in the box and, rather generously, is also throwing in a keyboard case for free for all customers who order one before the 28th of October. Either way, we’ll be testing both new tablets and reviewing them in full just as soon as we can get our hands on review samples so please be sure to check back in the next few weeks as we deliver our final verdict.

You will have noticed that there’s no Tab S11 Plus this year and that’s a shame because it provided a direct rival for Apple’s 13in iPad Pro tablet. With that gone, the iPad Pro’s closest rival, certainly among Samsung Tablets, is the rather large Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which is considerably less wieldy. Still, given that it is slated to cost the same as the iPad Pro at £1,199 you could argue that you’re getting rather more tablet for your money. That’s especially true as Samsung continues to include its S Pen stylus in the box and, rather generously, is also throwing in a keyboard case for free for all customers who order one before the 28th of October. Either way, we’ll be testing both new tablets and reviewing them in full just as soon as we can get our hands on review samples so please be sure to check back in the next few weeks as we deliver our final verdict.

But separate it from the keyboard and it’s really hard to get on with. The reduction in thickness and weight is welcomed, but it’s still too big to hold one-handed, and propping it up is tricky. Where you’ll casually hold a 10-inch tablet, at 14.6 inches, it’s just too big to use like that.In that sense, nothing much has changed with Samsung’s Ultra tablet. I love using it, really enjoy the performance, and can’t fault the quality of the display.

If you’re looking for an Android tablet with a super-sized OLED panel and long-lasting battery life, you can’t go wrong with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. It’s effectively the same tablet as previous models, only with a faster processor, but that’s not altogether bad since it’s still a lovely slate with a gorgeous screen. Though the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is brilliant on its own and wonderful for watching videos and movies, it can’t function as a laptop replacement due to the less effective DeX Mode and touchpad-less keyboard peripheral. You’re better off with the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 5 that’s currently on sale for $1,149. The pricier iPad Pro M5 is also a stronger option if you want a tablet to double as a laptop. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is less of a laptop replacement than its predecessors, but as a tablet, it’s still worth checking out.

Overall, I don't feel you should upgrade if you're coming from a Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra or a Tab S9 Ultra.

With that gone, the iPad Pro’s closest rival, certainly among Samsung Tablets, is the rather large Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which is considerably less wieldy. Still, given that it is slated to cost the same as the iPad Pro at £1,199 you could argue that you’re getting rather more tablet for your money. That’s especially true as Samsung continues to include its S Pen stylus in the box and, rather generously, is also throwing in a keyboard case for free for all customers who order one before the 28th of October. Either way, we’ll be testing both new tablets and reviewing them in full just as soon as we can get our hands on review samples so please be sure to check back in the next few weeks as we deliver our final verdict.

Along with the usual hardware upgrades, these new devices are predictably geared for AI, with Samsung focusing on the Galaxy AI experiences available on them. For example, one can use the phone camera with the preloaded Gemini Live AI assistant or easily perform a generative AI edit of a photo. Indeed, the upgrades are minor on the latest Galaxy S25 FE, which remains more affordable than the flagship Galaxy S25 phones. It has a similar 6.7-inch 120Hz display as the previous Galaxy S24 FE, though the bezels are slimmer. But minor nitpick here: The bezels are not uniform, with the bottom one looking just a tad thicker.

Comentario

Samsung: Samsung Group es el mayor conglomerado surcoreano y fue fundado en 1938. Samsung Group empleaba a 489.000 personas en 2014 y es una de las mayores empresas del mundo en términos de ingresos y fuerza de mercado. El nombre Samsung significa "Tres Estrellas" en coreano y representa a los tres hijos del fundador de la empresa. La empresa se fundó en 1938 como tienda de comestibles. Con su filial Samsung Electronics, fundada en 1969, Samsung se lanzó a la producción de artículos electrotécnicos, centrándose desde el principio en la electrónica de consumo y los electrodomésticos. Otras ramas en las que opera la gran corporación son la ingeniería mecánica, la automoción (Hyundai), los seguros, la venta al por mayor, el sector inmobiliario y el ocio. Estas tarjetas también deben ser capaces de aguantar todos los juegos actuales, pero  la mayoría de ellos en configuraciones de detalles medios y bajos y con bajas resoluciones. Juegos más antiguos, o menos exigentes todavía pueden ser jugados con buena calidad de gráficos.

ARM Immortalis-G925 MC12: Una rápida GPU integrada para procesadores ARM que cuenta con trazado de rayos por hardware, superresolución de precisión y otras tecnologías modernas. Se prevé que sea casi tan rápida como la Qualcomm Adreno 830.

Mediatek Dimensity 9000:

Dimensity 9400+: Un SoC octa-core de gama alta para tabletas y smartphones Android que se presentó el 10 de abril de 2025. Como tal, se dice que cuenta con un núcleo Cortex-X925 superpotente (hasta 3,73 GHz), tres núcleos Cortex-X4 (hasta 3,3 GHz) y cuatro eficientes núcleos Cortex-A720 (hasta 2,4 GHz) junto con la NPU 890 dedicada y la iGPU Immortalis-G925 MC12. El antiguo Dimensity 9400 cuenta con los mismos componentes clave, siendo su menor velocidad de reloj el factor diferenciador.

11.00: Esta diagonal de pantalla es bastante grande para tablets, pero pequeña para subportátiles. Algunos convertibles también usan ese tamaño.
