The TCL 40R 5G smartphone was announced in October 2022 and costs around $240 (Rs 19,490 in India) approx. The phone brings a 6.6 inches IPS LCD display panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits brightness. For the software part, the 40R has the latest Android 12 OS combined with TCL UI 4.0 user interface. Besides this, performance is handled through a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset integrated with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. As for the storage, the TCL 40R is available in 4GB RAM with a 64GB/128GB internal storage option. The triple rear camera on the smartphone features a 50MP primary lens along with a 2MP macro and 2MP depth lens. For selfies, you get an 8MP front camera while you can record 1080p videos at 30fps from both cameras. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
