EN→ESThe ROG Strix G16 (G614, 2023) is a proper gaming device. Its memory and storage can be upgraded – as it should be. Also, the cooling solution is spectacular – it doesn’t need to run the fans too fast, which results in not too much noise during gaming. After all, this is what you expect with that much copper. Let’s not forget the third fan. To be frank, we doubt that it makes much of a difference in terms of sheer cooling performance. However, it is definitely helping with the noise situation, taking advantage of the large heat spreader located on the back of the device. Despite all of that, the Acer Predator Helios 16 (PH16-71) performs slightly better during gaming. And let’s not forget that either of the two laptops is meant for playing games. On the bright side, the ROG Strix G16 features a super comfortable keyboard. It has long key travel, clicky feedback, large Arrow keys, and a Per-key RGB backlight.
