EN→ES Archive.org versionFor the target audience, Lenovo's Ideapad 300 is a pleasant offering -- the inclusion of an optical drive and VGA are particularly welcome, as many people considering budget laptops aren't necessarily up-to-date with their other technological trimmings, and may have an older monitor and a large CD/DVD collection. Is the Ideapad going to be winning any awards? Of course not, but that's not Lenovo's intention -- what we have here is a basic laptop that is inexpensive and entirely practical.

EN→ES Archive.org versionThe Ideapad 300S is, as far as Ideapads go, one of the higher end models, something reflected by the $500 price tag (the 100S, by comparison, can be had for as little as $180). That higher price comes with benefits, of course, making the machine an attractive option for those who need something a little more robust but not as powerful (and pricey) as a ThinkPad. It does have its downsides, though, like lack of touchscreen, and consumers should be careful to note whether the model offers the features they want most.

In testing the machine, I also liked the laptop's solid performance and responsive keyboard and touchpad. However, I was less impressed by its modest battery life.

GPU (GT2) integrada, con 24 EUs, encontrada en algunos modelos de CPU Skylake (Serie ULV de 15 Watts).
Estas tarjetas también deben ser capaces de aguantar todos los juegos actuales, pero la mayoría de ellos en configuraciones de detalles medios y bajos y con bajas resoluciones. Juegos más antiguos, o menos exigentes todavía pueden ser jugados con buena calidad de gráficos.
