El Asus GL551JK es un portátil de juego de 15.6". El procesador Core i7 tiene potencia más que de sobra para todos los escenarios pensables y la GPU GeForce puede manejar todos los juegos actuales. Aunque el hardware es muy potente, el portátil sólo se calienta moderadamente y permanece en silencio incluso bajo altas cargas. Gracias a un veloz SSD, el sistema reacciona bien. El display IPS Full-HD es brillante y tiene un buen contraste.

No gustarán a todos las modificaciones hechas por Asus al sucesor del GL550JK. En general, los cambios son positivos aunque el nuevo portátil es una mejora respecto al modelo anterior.
