Concluimos la review del MSI Prestige 13 Evo - A13M destacando que estamos ante un portátil muy compacto, que se hace muy portable con su grosor de menos de 2 cm y su peso en torno a 1 kg. Prestacionalmente, su procesador Intel Core i7-1360P se comporta a la perfección en tareas ofimáticas y de creación de contenidos, superando las 11 horas de autonomía con facilidad. Sus gráficos integrados no dan para jugar a juegos 3D modernos o realizar renderizados rápidos sobre el mismo, pero si para tareas menos exigentes en este sentido. El MSI Prestige 13 Evo - A13M cuenta con una pantalla de 13,3 pulgadas FHD+ que podemos valorar como correcta, tanto en definición como en colores. Sin embargo, se echa en falta un panel mejor que IPS o una tasa de refresco superior a los 60 Hz para un modelo con su precio.

The MSI Prestige 13 EVO is by no means a bad laptop—in fact, its phenomenal trackpad, well-built body, and snappy processor made it a joy to use. Also, this thing weighs about two pounds, making it an excellent device for those who desperately need to get the smallest and lightest gear possible. It’s not at the top of its class, but it’s still a great experience and worth considering if you find it on sale. Its $1,500 price tag is mainly what bumps this laptop from a solid recommendation down to a maybe. Its chassis has the build quality to back up the price, but the 1080p display doesn’t cut it when most laptops over $1,000 have 2K or 4K displays (even OLED). The short battery life also hurts it, considering how much MSI marketed this laptop for travel and portability.

El MSI Prestige 13 EVO A12M se posiciona estupendamente en el segmento de los equipos delgados y (ultra)ligeros. Con menos de 1 Kg de peso y un procesador Intel Core i7-1280P más 16 GB de RAM y 1 TB de almacenamiento, estamos ante una configuración que no defrauda en cuanto a rendimiento en escenarios de movilidad extrema. Los usuarios que se beneficiarían de tener un equipo como este van desde los profesionales liberales y autónomos que quieran trabajar desde cualquier lugar (nómadas digitales incluidos) con aplicaciones exigentes y en escenarios multitarea. Se quedan fuera las aplicaciones que precisen de aceleración gráfica o las de edición de vídeo y foto especialmente exigentes.

En resumen, el MSI Prestige 13 Evo A12M es un portátil que cumple con lo esperado e incluso supera las espectativas en campos tan importantes como su autonomía, una de las más altas que hemos probado. Todo ello en un equipo muy compacto y ligero, con lo último en conectividad y una muy buena calidad de construcción. La pantalla de 13,3 pulgadas con resolución FullHD tiene una buena calibración y el portátil ofrece un buen rendimiento. dos Thunderbolt 4, un USB-A, lector de tarjetas, webcam FHD con IRDA, WiFi 6E, etc. El arsenal de conectividad es muy bueno a pesar de su grosor reducido, y solo nos chirría un poco el cargador de 65W que no utiliza el puerto USB-C. En cuanto a su precio de 1.499 euros, encontramos otros modelos con pantallas OLED táctiles, más Hz y resolución de pantalla e incluso modelos convertibles con los nuevos procesadores de decimotercera generación que ya han pasado por nuestro laboratorio. Para poder competir con ellos, el MSI Prestige 13 Evo A12M debería reducir su precio. Además, el MSI Prestige 13 EVO A13M con procesadores de 13 gen, aunque el Core i7-1360p, tiene el mismo precio, ya la diferencia de rendimiento no debería ser demasiado representativa.

MSI: Micro-Star International (MSI) se fundó en 1986 en Taiwán. MSI es especialmente conocida como fabricante de placas base y tarjetas gráficas para PC, pero también ofrece accesorios informáticos, sistemas completos, placas base, tarjetas gráficas, portátiles, PC de sobremesa, monitores y otros componentes. Sin embargo, en Alemania la marca Microstar pertenece a la empresa Medion. MSI es conocida por sus productos para juegos y ha desarrollado una amplia gama de portátiles y PC de sobremesa para juegos. La empresa también trabaja en estaciones de trabajo, servidores y automatización industrial. MSI tiene oficinas en Norteamérica, Europa, Asia y Australia.

Estas tarjetas también deben ser capaces de aguantar todos los juegos actuales, pero  la mayoría de ellos en configuraciones de detalles medios y bajos y con bajas resoluciones. Juegos más antiguos, o menos exigentes todavía pueden ser jugados con buena calidad de gráficos.

Ultra 7 155H: Un chip Meteor Lake de gama alta que debutó en diciembre de 2023. Este procesador Core Ultra de primera generación ha venido a sustituir a los chips Core de 13ª generación; dispone de 16 núcleos (6 + 8 + 2) y 22 hilos.
