Throw in the updated hardware with increased power settings, the updated thermal module, and the addition of a MUX for the un-limited gaming experience, alongside the efficiency of the Ryzen 6000 hardware platform paired with a 90Wh battery inside, and the 2022 A15 is going to be an interesting option in the lower and mid-budget segment of all-purpose computers with a strong gaming pedigree. At the same time, though, I still have some nits with the ergonomics of this series, and with the rather high internal temperatures in demanding loads with the laptop sitting on a desk. Furthermore, the competition has also been updated for this year, and the 2022 Legion 5 or Nitro 5 are now better than ever before, and able to at least match the TUF on most of the important angles. Add in what looks like a higher price tag for the TUF Gaming notebook now, with all the updates, compared to past TUFs, as well as the internal competition from the superior ROG Strix G15 design, and the TUF A15 might not be an obvious recommendation in its class.

There's a lot to like about the Asus TUF Gaming A15 for 2022. It’s got the power to run mainstream games on an impressive 1440p screen, and its AMD processor offers good productivity performance. Tenemos 16 GB en dos módulos, una cantidad que creemos que aguantará bien el paso del tiempo. Siempre estará la posibilidad de ampliar en un futuro, algo que podemos hacer también con la ranura M.2 para un disco extra, sin la necesidad de deshacerse del actual. Tenemos el conmutador MUX para un manejo óptimo de sus dos GPUs y una refrigeración muy buena. Es un equipo bastante completo, con muy buenas características para un portátil gaming aunque, el panel es mejorable. Son casi 2.000€ (aunque hay importantes descuentos) pero, un equipo de alto rendimiento que nos dará "vicio" una buena cantidad de años, sería un equipo altamente recomendable si tubiera una cobertura mayor del espacio sRGB. La pantalla no se ve mal pero, la falta de cobertura de color inclina la balanza hacia el sello Buena Elección.

No tenemos USB-A a 10 Gbps ni lector de tarjetas, tampoco Wi-Fi 6E/7 por lo que aquí, sí que hay margen de mejora. El apartado de diseño nos gusta, el estilo Zephyrus es uno de mis favoritos, aunque podría mejorar la rigidez en pantalla o añadir base de teclado de aluminio. Por lo demás, es bastante compacto y se transporta bien. El precio de esta unidad Asus TUF Gaming A15 (2023) será de 1199€ en PcComponentes, misma cifra que la versión 16 GB + 1 TB en oferta en Amazon, por lo que elegiríamos directamente ésta. The TUF Gaming A15 isn’t the fastest 15in gaming laptop money can buy, and its Ryzen CPU isn’t going to break any performance records either – but considering the asking price, you’re getting a serious amount of bang for very little buck. It plays even newer titles very well at 1080p, and Nvidia’s DLSS tech should guarantee it copes with upcoming releases too. Elsewhere you get a decent enough display, all-day battery life (if you stick to the Windows desktop, that is), and a healthy number of ports. ‘Military standard’ toughness ratings aside, it should still be better equipped for life on the road than rival laptops, too. Unless your budget stretches much, much further, you won’t see a huge performance uplift by shopping elsewhere. Ultimately, it’s hard to argue with the sheer value on offer here.

EN→ESThe TUF Gaming A15 isn’t the fastest 15in gaming laptop money can buy, and its Ryzen CPU isn’t going to break any performance records either – but considering the asking price, you’re getting a serious amount of bang for very little buck. It plays even newer titles very well at 1080p, and Nvidia’s DLSS tech should guarantee it copes with upcoming releases too. Elsewhere you get a decent enough display, all-day battery life (if you stick to the Windows desktop, that is), and a healthy number of ports. ‘Military standard’ toughness ratings aside, it should still be better equipped for life on the road than rival laptops, too. Unless your budget stretches much, much further, you won’t see a huge performance uplift by shopping elsewhere. Ultimately, it’s hard to argue with the sheer value on offer here.

R9 8945HS: Una potente APU de la familia Hawk Point. No se trata de un procesador para portátiles completamente nuevo, sino de un R9 7940HS rebautizado (los dos son idénticos en casi todos los aspectos). El 8945HS cuenta con 8 núcleos Zen 4 habilitados para SMT que funcionan entre 4,0 GHz y 5,2 GHz para un total de 16 hilos de procesamiento y también viene con la tecnología Ryzen AI de segunda generación que pretende eclipsar por completo las tecnologías DL Boost y GNA de Intel.
