El Aspire V3-331 es virtualmente idéntico al recientemente testado Aspire V3-371 - color de carcasa aparte. Ambos tienen en común los mismos puntos fuertes y débiles. Ofrecen buenísimas duraciones de batería, tienen pantallas mate y teclados decentes. Sin embargo, las pantallas instaladas son oscuras, de bajo contraste, y tienen un tinte azulado. Además, tampoco tienen cubierta de mantenimiento. El Aspire V3-331 tiene un procesador ligeramente más débil, por lo que el dispositivo funciona algo más silencioso y no se calienta tanto. Como el Aspire V3-371, el Aspire V3-331 es recomendable como máquina de escribir y navegar portátil de 13.3". Los compradores que busquen un equilibrio asequible de tamaño, movilidad y aguante deberían ver de cerca el V3-331. El sobrecoste por el Aspire V3-371 merece la pena para los usuarios que necesiten mucha potencia multihilo. El Core i3-4030U tiene más que ofrecer en este aspecto que el Pentium.
