Los tiempos de respuesta del display muestran lo rápido que puede cambiar la pantalla de un color al siguiente. Tiempos lentos de respuesta pueden llevar a imágenes persistentes alrededor de objetos en movimiento o a displays borrosos. Particularmente los aficionados a los juegos 3D frenéticos deberían usar una pantalla con tiempos de respuesta rápidos.

Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Para atenuar el brillo de pantalla algunos portátiles están encendiendo y apagando la retroiluminación muy rápidamente. Esto se hace a una frecuencia que no debiera detectarse a simple vista. Si la frecuencia es demasiado lenta, la gente sensible podría experimentar problemas visuales, dolores de cabeza e incluso ver parpadeos.
Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM detectado 50 Hz10 % de brillo

La retroiluminación del display parpadea a 50 Hz (seguramente usa PWM - Pulse-Width Modulation) a un brillo del 10 % e inferior. Sobre este nivel de brillo no debería darse parpadeo / PWM.

La frecuencia de 50 Hz es bajísima, por lo que el parpadeo puede causar fatiga visual y cefaleas cuando se usa mucho tiempo.

Comparación: 58 % de todos los dispositivos testados no usaron PWM para atenuar el display. Si se usó, medimos una media de 5114 (mínimo: 43 - máxmo: 142900) Hz.

El Lenovo Yoga 710-14IKB es meramente una pequeña actualización. El convertible con aguante ahora trae un procesador Kaby Lake, que es un 10-15% más rápido con el mismo consumo de energía. Nuestro modelo de pruebas trae un procesador Intel Core i5-7200U así como 8 GB de RAM DDR4 y 256 GB de SSD. En especial convencen las cifras del aguante de batería y el bajo consumo del Yoga 710-14IKB.

La actualización Lenovo Kaby Lake del 710-14IKB sigue trayendo el atractivo diseño de chasis del modelo anterior. El rendimiento del nuevo modelo es ligeramente mejor debido a la nueva CPU. Gracias al buen aguante de ba tería, el Lenovo es un compañero de viaje fiable y con aguante.

Dado que el fabricante no cambió el diseño respecto al modelo anterior, seguimos notando los mismos problemas. Los micrófonos están situados justo sobre la salida del ventilador, lo que resulta muy molesto durante las videollamadas ya que la otra persona oirá siempre un constante murmullo. Con todo, el convertible causa una impresión sofisticada. Nos gusta la selección de materiales, y el rendimiento es suficiente para la mayoría de tareas diarias.
