El teclado y el touchpad me gustan y tenemos un muy buen sistema de sonido siempre que no estemos jugando, claro, porque ahí los ventiladores hacen bastante ruido y no vamos a poder disfrutar como se debe. Y todo esto, evidentemente, hay que pagarlo. El modelo que hemos probado nosotros cuesta, exactamente, 4.299,99 euros. Es caro, carísimo, sí, y me vas a decir que por ese precio tienes una torre y un portátil normal, pero al final estos portátiles son para usos concretos. Y es que, si te apasionan los videojuegos y quieres lo mejor en formato portátil para jugar donde quieras (siempre que lleves el cargador en la mochila), un portátil gaming es la única solución. Y, además de para jugar, es una espectacular estación de trabajo para personas que se dediquen a la edición de vídeo. De nuevo: entiendo que es caro, carísimo, pero tenemos el último hardware, una muy buena pantalla y un diseño TOP (además del extra de Razer, que también cuenta), y eso hay que pagarlo.

Passing over issues of size, weight and cost – which are things you can either live with or you can’t – the new Blade 17 is a pricey masterpiece. The immaculate build quality, powerful underpinnings and outstanding sound system make this a laptop that can perform any task with alacrity. Unless the super-sharp 4K display is a must, I’d suggest going for the QHD 240Hz model, which is £400 cheaper than the otherwise identical 4K model – and gamers get access to G-Sync with the other variants as well. Either way, the end result is a massively impressive bit of kit, even if you need to fork out a hefty sum for the privilege.
