Con el Envy 15-k203ng, HP ofrece un portátil todoterreno de 15.6". Tiene mucho rendimiento y puede ejecutar casi cualquier juego actual, si bien a calidad gráfica reducida. Además, la capacidad de almacenamiento es grande. El ordenador apenas se calienta y funciona casi siempre en silencio. La duración de la batería es como mucho mediocre. A la vista del precio, lo del display tiene que ser un chiste. HP decidió incorporar un display TN barato con poco ángulo de visión y menos contraste. Sólo el brillo resulta aceptable. Un display IPS con ángulo de visión estable debería haber sido obligatorio. Las posibilidades de mantenimiento tampoco convencen. Si quieres mejorar la RAM tienes que desmontar el portátil. Sin embargo, muchos otros fabricantes tampoco lo hacen mejor en este respecto.
Como con muchos portátiles HP recientes, tenemos que criticar lo caro de su precio. Precio y rendimiento no están en equilibrio. HP debería traer características bastante mejores para pedir 950 Euros.
Los que no sean fans del diseño HP deberían elegir Acer Aspire V15 Nitro VN7-571G-574H a nuestro parecer. Su display (IPS) es mucho mejor y está a la venta por unos 730 Euros (Sin SO Windows). Si le añades el precio de la licencia Windows, el ordenador sigue saliendo más de 150 Euros más barato que el Envy.
