Tiempos de respuesta del display

Los tiempos de respuesta del display muestran lo rápido que puede cambiar la pantalla de un color al siguiente. Tiempos lentos de respuesta pueden llevar a imágenes persistentes alrededor de objetos en movimiento o a displays borrosos. Particularmente los aficionados a los juegos 3D frenéticos deberían usar una pantalla con tiempos de respuesta rápidos.

Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Para atenuar el brillo de pantalla algunos portátiles están encendiendo y apagando la retroiluminación muy rápidamente. Esto se hace a una frecuencia que no debiera detectarse a simple vista. Si la frecuencia es demasiado lenta, la gente sensible podría experimentar problemas visuales, dolores de cabeza e incluso ver parpadeos.
Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM detectado 352 Hz ≤ 90 % de brillo

La retroiluminación del display parpadea a 352 Hz (seguramente usa PWM - Pulse-Width Modulation) a un brillo del 90 % e inferior. Sobre este nivel de brillo no debería darse parpadeo / PWM.

La frecuencia de 352 Hz es relativamente alta, por lo que la mayoría de gente no debería ver parpadeo o tener fatiga visual. Sin embargo, hay informes de que algunas personas pueden seguir viendo parpadeos a 500 Hz y superior, por lo que cuidado.

Comparación: 53 % de todos los dispositivos testados no usaron PWM para atenuar el display. Si se usó, medimos una media de 18110 (mínimo: 5 - máxmo: 3846000) Hz.

El Lenovo IdeaPad 320S es un dispositivo decente para tareas sencillas. Su diseño y conectividad se dirigen a usuarios prácticos que no quieran pasar sin una buena calidad aún aceptando un bajo rendimiento. Hemos visto portátiles peores a precios similares o incluso superiores.

El IdeaPad 320S de Lenovo es un portátil sencillo de bajo rendimiento pero decente manufactura.

Nos gustan particularmente el teclado y el display. Que no se pueda abrir el dispositivo sin arriesgarnos a dañarlo es muy molesto, empero. Esto limita las opciones del usuario y le impide limpiar el ventilador o cambiar el dispositivo de almacenamiento.
