EN→ESI was very impressed by the Honor Magic8 Pro's battery life. With its 7,100mAh battery, this phone can last around 1.5 days on average for my usage. In fact, I often end the day with over 50% battery. In PCMark's battery test, the Honor scored 12hr 49min, which is excellent, and quite a bit longer than the Vivo X300 (11hr 58min). If you're looking for a flagship smartphone that's more affordable than the ones from Apple or Samsung, while offering similar and sometimes even better performance, especially for battery life and photography, the Honor Magic8 Pro should be on your shortlist. It's one of several impressive flagship devices from the Chinese brands, and starts at a competitive price of S$1,499 for the base 12GB+512GB model (S$1,699 for the 16GB+1TB model). Get from Honor's official store on Shopee.

EN→ESThe Honor Magic8 Pro carries forward its predecessor's DNA but refines certain aspects of the user experience. It's a camera-centric phone with top-shelf specs and a great build, but it hasn't gone all flat and angular and has kept some of its curves. It’s not all sunshine and roses, though - the EU version does get a reduced battery capacity. The cut isn’t as severe as what we’ve seen from some competitors (looking at you, vivo X300 Pro), but it still feels bad when other manufacturers manage to keep their larger batteries intact. Devices like the Oppo Find X9 Pro and the OnePlus 15 prove that where there’s a will, there’s a way. The Honor Magic8 Pro won't be launching globally this month, so stay tuned while we give it a thorough assessment before you have to decide if it’s worth your hard-earned cash.

Honor's new flagship phone is here and I've been using it for the past two weeks across three continents. There's A LOT to like with the phone, starting with a gigantic battery (7100 mAh for Asia and 6200 mAh for EU), the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a new 200MP Periscope zoom lens that appears to be the HP9 sensor. There's also a new AI button, but for now it is a work in progress. Still, Honor's software is excellent, and the phone is a flagship powerhouse.

EN→ESThe Magic 8 Lite has a lot going for it. Its standout features – the massive 7,500 mAh battery, a vibrant 6.79-inch OLED screen, and a strong suite of AI capabilities – deliver a premium feel worth far more than its expected cost. While it is held back by a merely adequate, inherited camera system and the pre-loaded Honor bloatware, the Magic 8 Lite offers enough top-tier endurance and display quality to be confidently recommended – provided you live in Europe, where long-term support is guaranteed.

EN→ESHonor impresses with a mid-range winner that sports the largest battery and fastest charging speeds in its class, plus a build quality that's made to last for a very long time, with class-leading drop and ingress protection. Performance is generally excellent, and the software is full of fantastic features. Launching with Android 15 is a bummer, but at least it's got six years of promised OS updates in Europe. I'm not a fan of the flat sides or the cheap haptics, and the camera can be frustratingly slow, but something's got to give at this price range, and these aren't terrible trade-offs.

EN→ESThe Honor Magic 8 Lite offers truly unmatched battery performance. If you hate having to charge often, you'll love this phone. Enhanced aesthetics, increased durability, speedy charging (when you do need it), and a lovely display all sweeten the deal, but lackluster performance and middling cameras ruin the fun. With the Honor Magic 8 Lite, the battery is undoubtedly the star of the show. It has the same massive 7,500 mAh capacity as the Oppo Find X9 Pro, but when combined with its lower-end energy-efficient chip, it lasts even longer. I'm not exaggerating when I say that four days on a single charge is quite easy to achieve with this phone. The Magic 8 Lite's construction has been significantly upgraded this year, too.

EN→ESThe Honor Magic8 Lite is one of those updates that doesn't scream "new generation" through raw specs, but wins you over with how thoroughly it refines the formula. The star of the show is unquestionably durability - this is a mid-ranger that flirts with rugged-phone territory without looking or feeling like one. IP68/IP69K certification, resistance to high-pressure water jets, immersion up to 6m and drop protection rated to 2.5m are huge upgrades over previous Lite models and easily one of the main reasons to pick this phone over its rivals. Pair that with a large and bright 120Hz AMOLED with HDR10 support, excellent fingerprint reader and solid stereo speakers, and you get a genuinely pleasant everyday experience. The fundamentals are all covered too.
