When it comes to mid-range smartphones, Nothing's Phone 3a sure stands out. Going by the above camera samples, it is pretty clear that Motorola has a clear “edge” in the areas that matter. Of course, the Phone 3a is still special and offers one of the best software experiences in this segment, but its camera still needs a lot of work, as mentioned in my review. If you are looking for better battery life, then Vivo's T4 is not a bad deal either. Motorola's Edge 60 Fusion is a classic example of how companies can make a big difference by adding smaller but meaningful upgrades in the right places. By accomplishing this, Motorola has managed to deliver a great mid-range smartphone at a very competitive price point by adding very little to the mix. However, the Edge 60 Fusion's biggest competitor (just like last year) is the Motorola Edge 60.

Cool branded design, excellent ergonomics, excellent build quality, nice materials, high performance, gorgeous display, great sound, pretty good cameras, and battery life. The software part of Edge 60 Fusion is also worth praising: a fast, clean system, proprietary Moto features, and, of course, the new Moto AI. One of the main advantages is the relatively low price for a device of this level. In my opinion, Edge 60 Fusion has every chance of becoming a popular favorite and a “best for the money” device. There are also some controversial points, but, as for me, most of them are uncritical and insignificant. That's why we can say that Edge 60 Fusion is a great device that is worth paying attention to.

Honestly I do like the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion device. I feel that Motorola has done an exceptional job in reminding the edge screen devices over say Samsungs though I would like to see the edges be more utilised with potential features like an app draw or favourite apps you could load from the side. The cameras are amazing, the HelloUI is great and honestly there is a lot to like. It’s fair to say I feel this is more potentially a high end device on a mid range budget. However, the issues with some of the Moto AI functionality and connectivity issues with the lack of MIMO and DBS does sadly make this device a little bit harder to recommend especially if you need the ability to have both Wi-Fi and Hotspot functionalities on at the same time. The Motorola Edge 60 fusion is available through Motorola alongside retail partners below with special deals running till 11 June in either Slipstream, Amazonite and Zephyr colours for RRP $699.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has made a few tweaks from the Edge 50 Fusion, but at its core, it remains a good value Android phone offering a design that sets it apart from rivals. The battery life and charging are excellent, the display gives a great experience and the day-to-day usage is slick enough. But the new Moto AI suite doesn’t excite and just adds clutter to what was a fairly clean Android experience.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is the youngest smartphone in the current Edge lineup. But, even despite a number of compromises, the smartphone is pleasant to use. It has a bright screen of good quality, very good cameras, loud stereo sound, long battery life, as well as a stylish design with a back cover made of artificial leather and protection according to the IP68/IP69 standard. The level of performance is generally sufficient for all basic tasks, but I would like a more productive processor. The Ukrainian price is not yet known, but focusing on the European 330 euros, we can say that there are competitors with more productive chips. And one more complaint is the lack of a telephoto camera, it would be very appropriate.

Starting at Rs 20,999, I think it’s worth the price and offers incredible value for what you get. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion delivers everything you expect in a modern smartphone. It features a bright screen, a zippy processor, a quality camera, and robust battery life. It makes phone calls and doubles as an entertainment device on the go. Sure, this is not an “aspirational” smartphone, but not everyone wants a premium phone or is willing to pay heavy EMIs for years—especially at a time when saving money is a priority for many people in uncertain times.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is an excellent choice for users seeking a premium mid-range device with a clean Android experience, astounding display, and solid performance. It builds upon the strengths of its predecessor while improving aspects like camera processing and battery efficiency. But as we all know, a Motorola phone is incomplete without drawbacks. For your information, the OS update policy is inconsistent. Furthermore, it lacks wireless charging and offers a slightly underwhelming ultra-wide camera that may discourage some users. But, the Samsung Galaxy A56 might be a wonderful alternative for those who value long-term software support and better camera quality at a high price.

Check out my unboxing and reviews of the best mid-range mobiles here on Tech Spurt, including the Nothing Phone 3a. Pixel 9a analysis coming soon! The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion may seem to sport the same camera setup as the 50 Fusion, but those sensors have been swapped out. I'm happy enough with the photos spaffed out here, although video quality isn't quite as good. At this budget though, solid stuff. Gaming is more than possible here, but the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion does struggle with Wuthering Waves when things get a bit hectic.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is a value proposition in the midrange smartphone segment. The smartphone is not without flaws, but under the Rs 25,000 segment mark, it covers the essentials right and throws in surprises with the presence of a number of AI tools. The smartphone is good for multitasking, but it is surely not a good option for gamers. Hence, the good idea here would be to first identify the needs and then make the call of whether it will be the right fit for you or not.

It has a few standout features like a higher-end display, exceptional build and unorthodox design, unrivaled speakers (loudness and quality-wise), fast charging, and pretty solid camera performance with all three cameras.

The Motorola Edge 60 is, on paper, a near-ideal lower-mid-range phone for many people. Some will appreciate the curved glass front, the screen is decent, battery life is good and the camera hardware is more capable than plenty. Performance issues detract from what would otherwise be a nicely balanced phone. Not being able to play Fortnite at maximum settings isn’t necessarily a major issue, but the fact that the camera doesn’t perform as well as it should and there is noticeable judder at times in the interface are irritations. Some of this may improve with a future software update. But in its current state, the Motorola Edge 60 gets a qualified recommendation only.

Probably not. The regular Edge 60 is an impressive phone in several areas, but it occupies an awkward middle ground between the budget Edge 60 Fusion and the more premium Edge 60 Pro. Ultimately, there are more exciting phones in this price bracket – if you want to game, I’d go with Poco X7 Pro, if you’re more interested in design, the Nothing Phone (3a) is a great option. For greater longevity and support, Samsung’s Galaxy A36 is your best bet. The Edge 60 gets a lot right, but I can’t recommend anyone buy it over these superior rivals.

The Motorola Edge 2025 is a beautiful contradiction. It’s the kind of phone that wows you in the hand, impresses on paper, and feels like it should be a flagship. Until you push it a little harder and the cracks begin to show. Awarded to products with an average rating of 3.75 stars or higher, the AndroidGuys Smart Pick recognizes a balance of quality, performance, and value. It stands out in design, innovation, and user experience, delivering great functionality at a competitive price. If design, display brightness, and durability are high on your priority list, there’s a lot to like here. Motorola nailed the hardware feel, packed in meaningful durability upgrades, and added some thoughtful conveniences like wireless charging and a genuinely versatile camera setup.

The Motorola Edge is currently retailing for $550 on the company's official website and Best Buy. It arrives unlocked, so you can connect the device to your preferred carrier. I would recommend this smartphone to anyone looking for a mobile device with solid performance, a long-lasting battery, and a lush OLED screen. If you want a phone with some flexibility, I suggest looking into the Motorola Razr. The Moto G Stylus is also noteworthy for its top-notch output courtesy of its Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.

Well, at $550 and with 256GB of storage, this mid-ranger is a great value, provided that you are aware of its shortcomings before you set out to get it. Its design is absolutely lovely, it is an absolute catwalk star; I like it a lot. The battery life and the camera are fairly decent; photos aren't masterpieces and the phone will hardly last two days, but on the other hand, you will get decent photos and predictable battery life. The biggest offender with this phone is the performance, which is simply lacking. In the same price bracket, do consider the Pixel 9a, which goes for $499, has better battery life, performance, and camera at the expense of an uglier design and a 128GB starting memory.

The Google Pixel 9a and OnePlus 13R are better midrange smartphone options for a similar price to the Motorola Edge 2025. If you're a hardcore gamer, the OnePlus 13R has the performance you'll need. Additionally, the Pixel 9a offers the best value for money at $500. However, I'm reviewing the Edge for the future, and I'm not worried about its current $550 price tag. In three months, the Edge will be $400 or less, making it an exceptional value for a satisfied buyer. The Motorola Edge 2025 offers decent midrange performance and outstanding battery life, but it's best purchased at a discount. Thankfully, there will be plenty, and you'll get to enjoy its gorgeous 6.7-inch pOLED display and premium build quality for less. If you're in the market for a midrange phone, the Motorola Edge is worth waiting for.

The Motorola Edge 2025 is a gorgeous phone with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, stronger glass than ever, and a vegan leather back that'll keep you staring at it throughout the day. The camera experience is substantially better than last year's phone, battery life and charging speed are great, and Moto AI adds some great features. Unfortunately, the value is held back by a slow processor and lack of promised updates.

The Moto Edge is now available in Canada for $849.99 outright at Motorola Canada’s website. If you’re looking for an affordable phone for your teenager, I might consider the Moto Edge. The 2025 Motorola Edge has a vibrant and bright display and delivers truly epic battery life. If these are the only things you want in a phone, the Edge has you covered. However, its processor is sluggish, its cameras are only average, and its software support window is limited to just a few years. Ultimately, the Google Pixel 9a is a better phone all around and our Editors' Choice winner thanks to its combination of power, cameras, AI, and software, all for a lower price than the Edge.

The Motorola edge 2025 secured a spot in the top 10 of our battery performance ranking, offering well-balanced results across all testing criteria. It delivers impressive overall autonomy, allowing users to enjoy more than three days of usage on a single charge under moderate conditions (with an average of four hours of active use / day). The device performs strongly across most use cases and is especially well-suited for extended video streaming and gaming sessions. On the charging front, the device includes a 68W charger and achieved a full charge in just over an hour. Wireless charging, a noteworthy feature at this price point, took over two hours to fully recharge the battery.

The Motorola Edge 60 is a decent all-rounder for the asking price, with some caveats in mind. The display is excellent, one of the brightest in the class, even, the camera experience is pretty good, despite the underwhelming 2x zoom photos and inconsistent performance from shot to shot. The Edge 60 also supports speedy charging, offers a nice and lightweight all-leather design with high IP68/69 ingress protection. And we are huge fans of the desktop-like environment feature offered by the Hello UI under the collective Smart Connect feature. Nevertheless, the unimpressive battery endurance, the flat-sounding loudspeakers and the relatively slow chipset for the price bracket keep us from giving this phone an excellent score. We are also disappointed to see the wireless charging go and the software support shortened to just 3 major OS upgrades iinstead of 5 like on the Edge 50.

The Motorola Edge 60 delivers standout value in the mid-range segment, especially for users who prioritize camera hardware, display quality, and battery life. With the same camera setup as its more expensive Pro sibling, a beautiful 6.7-inch OLED screen, and strong battery endurance, it’s one of the most photography-friendly and premium-feeling phones in its class. However, it’s not without flaws. Video performance is underwhelming, the fingerprint sensor is slow, and audio quality is basic at best. Also, while the design is sleek, the curved screen might not be for everyone. If these trade-offs don’t bother you, the Edge 60 is easy to recommend. Still, it’s worth considering the competition.

Not content with just one big launch, Motorola has also decided to unveil the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro smartphones alongside announcing the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra foldables. These are the latest entries in the mainline series of Motorola phones, with a wide range of products that cover the entire gamut between budget phones and high-class flagships. Interestingly, the latter portion is usually covered by an Ultra variant, which is absent from this year’s lineup – for now, at least. That leaves us with two handsets to talk about: the Motorola Edge 60 (no suffix) is positioned as a lower-mid-range phone, while the Motorola Edge 60 Pro brushes up against the top limit of the mid-range, just nipping at the heels of flagships. Despite the gulf in their prices and intended markets, the two phones share a surprising amount of hardware, suggesting that the Motorola Edge 60 in particular could be punching well above its weight. Let’s take a look at the specs and see just how similar they are

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a great all-rounder phone that provides a diverse set of features at a sensible price. Long battery life is its star feature, the latest battery tech allowing for a 6000mAh unit with no increase in thickness. Performance is strong too, particularly for graphics and gaming. There are several generational downgrades you need to make peace with before buying a Motorola Edge 60 Pro. It has a plastic frame, not an aluminium one. The maximum charging speed is lower, although still decent at 90W. And the camera is, bafflingly, limited to 4K at 30 frames per second when taking video. Still, there’s a lot to like here if you can overlook those shortcomings.

Motorola almost always manages to release quite balanced and pleasant-to-use smartphones in the Edge line. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro was no exception. The smartphone has a high-quality bright display, a universal set of cameras that shoot well, long battery life, loud stereo sound, as well as an original design and protection according to the IP68/IP69 standard. Although there are still some questions about the smartphone. For some reason, the charging speed has decreased compared to last year's model, and the metal frame has been replaced with a plastic one. The lack of a full-fledged Always on Display also looks strange.

I wish every smartphone looked like the Motorola Edge 60 Pro. It’s simply gorgeous to look at, and feels very comfortable to use in the hand, and while it makes for a great everyday smartphone I do think it’s held back by Moto AI being somewhat undercooked, alongside a limited four years of support which puts it behind the competition. Still, even with those caveats, this is a great all-rounder.

Alright, so having used the Motorola edge 60 Pro for more than a month, do I recommend this phone for 30,000? I would say, Yes! First of all you get 256 GB storage here unlike the Nothing Phone 3A Pro and the iQOO Neo 10 – which has 128GB storage. And also, apart from little optimization issues, there aren’t any major red flags about this phone if you think about it. It has a nice handy design, a good display, decent cameras, and satisfactory performance. And most of all you get a clean UI here where you don’t have to worry about bloatware or ads. It’s actually a really balanced phone and I have quite enjoyed using it during all this time. The Edge 60 Pro is a sleek all-rounder with a stunning display, strong battery life, clean software, and surprisingly capable cameras. Some polish is missing in the software and portrait shots, but for the price, it’s a solid pick.

The Edge 60 Pro is a proper antidote to identikit smartphones with flat sides and screens. Motorola’s mix of unique materials and curved-edge glass really help this phone stand out, and what’s underneath is pretty convincing too. There’s ample performance, the software is simple without being basic (with AI enhancements you might actually want to use) and it’s as weather-resistant as they come. It’s a shame to see some of last year’s specs dialled down, notably charging speeds and selfie camera autofocus, but nothing has dipped low enough that it loses ground to close rivals. In all other respects photography has stepped up from the previous generation, helping Moto close the gap to the current class leaders. Battery life is ultimately the Edge 60 Pro’s biggest draw. If you’re after a does-it-all device that can last entire weekends between refuels and won’t cost as much as a flagship, it absolutely deserves to be on your shortlist.

When Motorola first started releasing its line of more affordable 'premium' Edge smartphones in 2020, it never could have expected that it'd be the last mobile brand to make truly eye-catching flagship phones. That's not quite true, of course, but with expensive phones like the Samsung Galaxy S25, iPhone 16, and Xiaomi 15 all offering relatively boring designs that defy their hefty price tags, Moto is one of the few flagbearers whose top-end phones actually feel... well, top-end in 2025. Moto has released a new generation of Edge phones each year since the debut of the Motorola Edge in 2020, and the Edge 60 Pro is the most advanced model of the current crop (at least until the next Ultra-branded model arrives). And thankfully, almost all of the previous models' selling points remain valid on the Edge 60 Pro.

The lack of a fast charger in the box is disappointing, but it’s really the camera wobbles and relatively short software support that hold the Edge 60 Pro back from greatness. If Motorola had addressed these two points while keeping the price competitive, we could have been looking at a serious rival for the Google Pixel 9a. As things stand, however, extra storage is about the only thing that gives Motorola the edge (so to speak) over Google. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a stylish and competent phone, but for everything it does well, the Pixel 9a does just as well or even better while offering much longer software support.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a phone for people who don’t want to be lumped into the same boring slab of specs that every other Rs 29,999 phone is offering. It dares to have a personality, and in 2025, that’s a rare offering. The construction is sturdy, featuring a curved pOLED display, IP68/IP69 ratings, and a nylon or vegan leather rear panel that enhances grip and usability. The display offers a high-resolution, smooth visual experience, supported by a 120Hz refresh rate. Performance is consistent across various tasks, while the camera configuration – comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide lens, 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and 50MP front camera – offers versatility for most scenarios. Battery life is reliable, with rapid wired charging and wireless charging support. That said, the Edge 60 Pro balances performance, design, and functionality, making it a well-rounded daily-use smartphone in midrange segment.

Reviewing the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, a flagship smartphone for £600 UK, boasting a triple lens camera, excellent battery life and some decent Moto AI features. It's up against the Poco F7 Ultra and other more budget-friendly flagship phones, but the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is still worth considering. Here's my verdict after using it as my phone for a week. Some of the best bits of this slender device include the magnificent longevity, thanks to the 6000mAh battery. This even charges super-fast thanks to the 90W TurboPower support. You've also got a slick pOLED screen, decent stereo speakers and some commendable Motorola AI features. The Moto Edge 60 Pro can recall important info and summarise your missed messages to save you time.

With its curved and sleek vegan leather design and IP68 + IP69 military-grade durability, it packs elegance and toughness in a package that’s both stylish and practical. On the other hand, the curved pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate is a visual treat, vibrant, fluid, and ultra-responsive. For power users, the edge 60 PRO is a powerhouse (4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme paired with as much as 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage), delivering lightning-fast app launches, seamless multitasking, and top-tier gaming performance. The Mali-GMC6 GPU holds up impressively for graphics-heavy tasks.

On the flip side, there are some downgrades from the Edge 50 Pro, like the plastic frame, the 120Hz refresh rate (down from 144Hz), the selfie camera no longer has autofocus, and the charging speed has also decreased from last year's 125W wired and 50W wireless to 90W wired and only 15W wireless. Of course, some of these might have been the tradeoffs needed in pursuing longer battery life, and we don't think there are any dealbreakers here. With the Edge 60 Pro, Motorola has come up with a nicely balanced upper midranger, which is worth considering for your purchase list (especially once the price settles down a bit).

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro brings an updated design, chipset, cameras, and battery size compared to the Edge 50 Pro and, on paper, it really seems to tick all the right check boxes.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro starts at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the higher 12GB + 256GB option is priced at Rs 33,999. At this price, it competes with phones like the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro (review), Realme 14 Pro+ (review), and iQOO Neo 10R (review). The Phone (3a) Pro has an advantage when it comes to software experience, long-term support, and that signature design, and it offers similar AI features. However, its camera performance and battery life don’t quite match up. The Realme 14 Pro+ falls short of the Edge 60 Pro in most key areas. The iQOO Neo 10R offers better battery life and similar raw performance, but compromises on camera quality, software polish, and durability.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a strong choice if you're after a well-rounded Android phone that delivers excellent battery life, fast performance, and a clean software experience—without pushing into $1,000 flagship territory. That said, it does have its shortcomings. Video recording remains somewhat of a weakness, which could be a deal-breaker if you frequently capture memories with family and friends. Depending on your priorities, you might find better value in alternatives like the Pixel 9a, which offers superior video quality and longer software support at a lower price, or the OnePlus 13R, which boasts faster charging and a better display. If you're okay with the limited video performance and shorter software support, the Edge 60 Pro still delivers a satisfying user experience. It’s a meaningful upgrade over its predecessor in several key areas and offers solid all-around value for the price.

Aside from slightly limited software support, my hands-on time suggests Motorola can mix it with the big names in the mid-range phone market. However, the cameras are still a big question mark for me. On paper, the 50Mp Sony Lytia sensor sounds good, but I’m not convinced Motorola’s software processing can quite match Google, Apple or Samsung. And while the ultrawide has had a nice boost to 50Mp and offers the flexibility of a 120-degree field of view, the 3x telephoto remains at just 10Mp. I don’t know if that’s enough for the Edge 60 Pro to become a top mid-range camera phone, which will be necessary to tempt people away from rivals. A few quick shots in the hands-on area looked decent, but it’s hard to draw any conclusions without extended real-world testing. Priced at €599.99 in Europe, the Edge 50 Pro represents good value for money, at least based on initial impressions. But will the camera end up being a dealbreaker when considering the fiercely competitive mid-range market? Time will tell.

A big complaint from our Edge 50 Pro review was battery life, and Motorola has worked on this. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro now comes with a 6,000mAh battery (from 4,500mAh) but gets a slower 90W wired charging. The Qi-standard 15W wireless charging has been retained. Indeed, it seems like Motorola has listened to its users and come up with a segment-beating package. However, we will need to test the company's claims and verify if the hardware upgrades perform as expected. Until then, stay tuned for our detailed review, which will be out soon!

Let’s take a look at the specs and see just how similar they are:Length 2

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has a lovely, colourful design that dares to do something a little different with its various finishes and quad-curved design. It punches well above its price tag in terms of appearance, while its vibrant display and huge battery ensure its not all about looks. I still need to test the Edge 60 Pro and Edge 60 in full to see how they perform compared to other mid-rangers out there, but both are certainly promising and left me with a great first impression.

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is thoughtfully designed for value-conscious users who are always looking for that little extra from their device. It is safe to say that the stylus support on Motorola’s latest offering puts it in a league of its own. Even for those who prioritise clean software, reliable cameras, and solid battery life, the Edge 60 Stylus ticks all the right boxes. That said, gamers might want more power for longer sessions, making the iQOO Z10 a strong alternative. The segment also features the Nothing Phone 3a, which is worth considering if you are drawn to bold, eye-catching designs. For productivity-focused students and working professionals, the Edge 60 Stylus remains an easy recommendation.

There has been a subtle shift towards devices designed specifically for note-taking, especially those with a built-in stylus. Such devices have existed in the past, too, but note-taking was often an afterthought. For me, though, I always get excited to try them out. Maybe it’s because, as a journalist, I have always carried a notepad and pen — so it’s hard to ignore a note-taking device when you are an assiduous note-taker, jotting things down for hours at a time. When Motorola recently launched the Edge 60 Stylus, it piqued my interest for two reasons: a) it’s a smartphone, and b) it’s surprisingly affordable. I honestly can’t remember the last time I used a phone with a stylus at this price point, as someone who has reviewed every type of note-taking device on the market, from smartphones and iPads to e-ink readers and digital notebooks over the years.

The motorola edge 60 STYLUS stands out as a versatile and stylish device in its category, combining a premium vegan leather design, a stunning 1.5K pOLED display, and a built-in stylus – a rare feature at this price point. It also offers an IP68 rating and military-grade durability, adding ruggedness in a single package. The motorola edge 60 STYLUS delivers a smooth and reliable performance (Snapdragon 7s Gen 2) for daily tasks, creative work (with its stylus), and entertainment (pOLED display). The 50 MP Sony LYTIA 700C camera with OIS has strong imaging performance, while the 32 MP selfie camera ensures good self-portraits. Added features like wireless charging, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and AI-powered stylus tools further round out an impressive package.

It is impressive how Motorola has introduced a stylus-equipped edition at the same price as the Fusion, making this an outstanding mid-range option. Getting a stylus with a mid-range smartphone seemed a forgotten dream, but Motorola has revived it. If you enjoy taking notes, sketching, or doodling, the Edge 60 Stylus is a strong choice. Hardcore gamers, however, might consider alternatives. Overall, the inclusion of the stylus makes this smartphone a top contender—possibly the best—in the mid-range segment.
