The display as the heart

With the 90 Hz display, realme is not without competition in spite of the relatively low price of 350 euros. Since manufacturers can also make a few mistakes when it comes to the screen, the details matter. Here the 6 Pro scores with a good brightness of maximum 444 cd/m² with activated sensor. The color mode is also solid and can be adjusted to your own preferences in the menu.

While a refresh rate of 90 Hz ensures a more pleasant picture, the tiresome subject of brightness control cannot be left out. We encounter PWM in the realme 6 Pro, but with a comparatively high frequency of 2,336 Hz it should also be suitable for users with somewhat sensitive eyes. What bothered us in the test, however, was the applied screen protector. This made fluid drag-and-drop movements unnecessarily difficult and, if possible, should be removed or replaced by a smoother version.
