Breve análisis del Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15IKB

Demasiado caro. El todoterreno Lenovo de 15.6" puntúa con un buen equipamiento, una ración decente de potencia de cálculo, y capacidad de juego. El aguante de batería no pasa de mediocre. Lo que es más, Lenovo pide unos exhorbitantes 999 Euros por el portátil.

Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Para atenuar el brillo de pantalla algunos portátiles están encendiendo y apagando la retroiluminación muy rápidamente. Esto se hace a una frecuencia que no debiera detectarse a simple vista. Si la frecuencia es demasiado lenta, la gente sensible podría experimentar problemas visuales, dolores de cabeza e incluso ver parpadeos.
Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM detectado 50 Hz ≤ 10 % de brillo

La retroiluminación del display parpadea a 50 Hz (seguramente usa PWM - Pulse-Width Modulation) a un brillo del 10 % e inferior. Sobre este nivel de brillo no debería darse parpadeo / PWM.

La frecuencia de 50 Hz es bajísima, por lo que el parpadeo puede causar fatiga visual y cefaleas cuando se usa mucho tiempo.

Comparación: 53 % de todos los dispositivos testados no usaron PWM para atenuar el display. Si se usó, medimos una media de 18110 (mínimo: 5 - máxmo: 3846000) Hz.

Tiempos de respuesta del display

Los tiempos de respuesta del display muestran lo rápido que puede cambiar la pantalla de un color al siguiente. Tiempos lentos de respuesta pueden llevar a imágenes persistentes alrededor de objetos en movimiento o a displays borrosos. Particularmente los aficionados a los juegos 3D frenéticos deberían usar una pantalla con tiempos de respuesta rápidos.

Eso quiere decir que el tiempo de respuesta es peor que la media (21.6 ms) de todos los dispositivos testados.

El todoterreno Lenovo de 15.6" tiene bastante potencia de cálculo para los usos comunes. La gráfica GeForce instalada renderiza los juegos de forma fluida. El portátil sólo se calienta moderadamente incluso bajo carga. Un veloz SSD asegura un sistema rápido. Un HDD de 2.5" de 1 TB lo complementa. Sendos dispositivos de almacenamiento se pueden cambiar con facilidad ya que quedan accesibles desde fuera. No hace falta abrir la carcasa para ello. El teclado instalado causa una impresión decente. El panel IPS tiene un ángulo de visión estable y muy buen contraste, pero podría ser más brillante.

Con el Ideapad 510-15IKB, Lenovo ofrece un todoterreno bien equipado que muestra defectos a pesar de un precio de casi 1000 Euros.

El Ideapad sólo tiene una batería de baja capacidad (30 Wh). En consecuencia, el portátil sólo ofrece un aguante de batería mediocre. La gestión del ventilador debería renovarse para que prevalezca el silencio en el modo inactivo. Además, esperamos un puerto USB Type-C en el año 2016.
