Sin ser un equipo asombroso, cuida los detalles al máximo y tiene una apariencia destacada además de peso y grosor de nivel, aunque la conectividad salga algo perjudicada. El uso del Snapdragon X Elite ya marca bastante el tipo de destinatario. Si necesitas aplicaciones muy específicas especialmente del campo del diseño, no es todavía una opción Windows ARM por muy bien que funcione la emulación y la buena tarea de acopio de aplicaciones del curso pasado.

The HP OmniBook X Flip is my new go-to for recommending midrange convertibles. It does everything you could ask for out of a slim laptop, and does it with style. The keyboard is a joy to type on, the touchpad is good (although it's not a haptic one), and it has a decent port selection. Most laptop purchasers want battery life, performance, and a good screen, and the OmniBook X Flip has all of those, whether you pick the 14-inch or 16-inch version. The onboard speakers are slightly better on the larger model, but that's about the only difference I could point at after a month of extended use. Get the one that fits your backpack and be happy. But before you do, double-check the discounts on the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip, because the flagship is sometimes cheaper than the midrange.

And whether it's work or play, the OLED touchscreen is a delight. There is room for improvement here, naturally. Firstly, we'd strongly recommend opting for the pricier 32GB model, and secondly, we really wish the speakers were better. If HP could find a way to get a more full-bodied audio experience, this would be a nigh-on perfect laptop for the home – or the home office. Even as it stands, though, this is one of our favourite laptops of 2025 so far. If you've got around £1,400 to spend on a laptop, the OmniBook X Flip 16 should be very near the top of your shopping list.

I really do not know why the HP OmniBook X Flip 16 2-in-1 design hit me as it did. There is this subtle line on the bottom that sort of curves out and makes this laptop look really nice. The color of the laptop is also stunning, and while it does grab some fingerprints, it’s not as bad as some other laptops. It’s also lightweight for a 16″ laptop. The 3K OLED display on this unit is vibrant and punchy, with deep blacks, crisp whites, and an excellent brightness level. The Intel 258V paired with 32 GB of RAM is excellent and handles my video editing and photo editing with ease. The fans rarely kicked in on this unless I was rendering something heavy in 4K. The speakers are just okay; the soundstage is decent, but they do lack a bottom end. They do get the job done though. Battery life is outstanding, as expected with this 258V under the hood.

It's also not exactly priced to entice, leaning into territory inhabited by more capable machines (many of which include discrete GPUs, with all the gaming and creative advantages that come with them). For the price of the OmniBook X Flip 16 I tested, if you're not getting a dedicated GPU, then you should rightly expect a better keyboard, touchpad, webcam and speakers. For significantly less than the Flip 16's price, you can grab an Acer Swift Go 16, which also includes a beautiful OLED panel and outperformed the Flip 16 on the majority of our benchmarks. While the Swift can't match the Flip 16 for battery life and doesn't offer two-in-one functionality, it makes for a much cheaper date if you want a big-screen OLED laptop for home use.

The HP Omnibook X Flip 14 is a capable 2-in-1 device with solid power and excellent battery life in a premium-feeling chassis that also has a solid set of ports. The letdown with this laptop is its screen, especially with subpar colour accuracy, which makes it somewhat hard to recommend for creative purposes. The likes of the Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura Edition and larger-screened Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 are more powerful by a little bit, but have much stronger OLED screens that are better all round and make those candidates a lot better-suited to creative tasks. This is a decent laptop otherwise, with strong ports, excellent battery life, and decent performance from its mid-range Intel processor. I haven't really pointed out any major negatives in this review, and that's because, at nearly ₹1.5 lakh, the Omnibook X Flip delivers the kind of flagship thin-and-light experience you'd expect. It packs an immersive 3K OLED touchscreen in a foldable form factor, is lightweight and ergonomic for on-the-go use, and offers one of the most comfortable keyboards I've typed on in a while. Put simply, it feels like the complete package. Of course, if I had to nitpick, there are a few things. Windows still isn't fully optimised for a touchscreen-only workflow, the audio output leaves room for improvement, and the lack of a fingerprint reader is noticeable. Competing laptops in this range also offer slightly better battery life, though none of them double up as a convertible. At the end of the day, those quibbles are just that: nitpicks. The HP Omnibook X Flip is an excellent all-rounder that blends performance, portability, and premium features into one very compelling machine.

HP: Fundada en 1939, la empresa estadounidense es un importante fabricante de servidores e impresoras y una de las principales empresas de TI del mundo. Hasta 2015, la empresa se llamaba Hewlett-Packard Company. Tras una escisión, la división de informática pasó a llamarse HP Inc.

En 2023, HP tenía una cuota de mercado aproximada del 22% de las ventas mundiales de PC, lo que la situaba en el segundo puesto después de Lenovo.

Estas tarjetas también deben ser capaces de aguantar todos los juegos actuales, pero  la mayoría de ellos en configuraciones de detalles medios y bajos y con bajas resoluciones. Juegos más antiguos, o menos exigentes todavía pueden ser jugados con buena calidad de gráficos.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: Un adaptador gráfico integrado que incorporan varios procesadores Snapdragon X Elite y X Plus. La Adreno no es compatible con monitores SUHD 4320p y, en lo que respecta al rendimiento, no es mucho más rápida que la anticuada iGPU Intel Iris Xe de 96 UE.

Intel Arc 140V: Un adaptador gráfico integrado bastante rápido que, según se informa, emplean ciertos procesadores Intel Lunar Lake. We expect the 130V to be about as fast as the Radeon 780M for playable frame rates in most 2023 and some 2024 games at 1080p on low graphics settings.

SD X Elite X1E-78-100: Un sistema-en-un-chip de arquitectura ARM para su uso en portátiles Windows. El X1E-78-100 es el miembro más lento de la familia de productos Snapdragon X Elite, a fecha de mayo de 2024; como tal, tiene 12 núcleos de CPU Oryon (8 núcleos P y 4 núcleos E) funcionando a no más de 3,4 GHz y una GPU Adreno de 3,8 TFLOPS. Para endulzar el trato se incluye una NPU Hexagon de 45 TFLOPS, un controlador de memoria LPDDR5x-8448 impresionantemente rápido, compatibilidad con USB 4.0, TB 4 y PCIe 4.

Intel Lunar Lake:

Core Ultra 7 258V: Un procesador de gama media-alta de la familia Lunar Lake. Se trata de un SoC para su uso en portátiles y tabletas del tipo más delgado que incorpora 4 nuevos núcleos E y 4 nuevos núcleos P que funcionan a una frecuencia de hasta 4,8 GHz, junto con la nueva y prometedora iGPU Arc 140V y 32 GB de memoria RAM LPDDR5x-8533 integrada. También se incluye un nuevo motor neuronal 47 TOPS y compatibilidad con TB 4 y SSD PCIe 5.

Core Ultra 5 226V: Uno de los procesadores más lentos de la familia Lunar Lake. Se trata de un SoC para su uso en portátiles y tabletas del tipo más delgado que cuenta con 4 núcleos E totalmente nuevos y 4 núcleos P algo nuevos que funcionan a una velocidad de hasta 4,5 GHz, junto con la nueva iGPU Arc 130V y 16 GB de RAM LPDDR5x-8533 integrada. También se incluye un nuevo motor neuronal de 40 TOPS y compatibilidad con TB 4 y SSD PCIe 5.

AMD Strix / Gorgon Point:

Ryzen AI 7 350: Un procesador relativamente potente de la familia Strix Point que debutó en octubre de 2024. La APU de arquitectura híbrida cuenta con 8 núcleos de CPU (una mezcla de núcleos Zen 5 y Zen 5c) que funcionan hasta a 5,0 GHz, junto con el adaptador gráfico Radeon 880M y el motor neuronal XDNA 2 de 50 TOPS. El procesador seguro de AMD (que en pocas palabras es un coprocesador ARM integrado) está a bordo, así como algunas otras características de gama alta, como AMD-Vi. Otras características clave son PCIe 4, USB 4 y compatibilidad con RAM de hasta LPDDR5x-8000, incluida RAM ECC. El objetivo de potencia TDP a largo plazo puede alcanzar los 55 W.
