Royole FlexPai 2 golpea a AnTuTu y a TENAA con un Snapdragon 865, 8 GB de RAM y 128 GB de almacenamiento antes del anuncio del 21 de septiembre

El Royole FlexPai 2 ha llegado a TENAA y AnTuTu, poco antes de su lanzamiento el 21 de septiembre. El smartphone plegable tendrá una pantalla AMOLED de 7,8 pulgadas, un chipset Snapdragon 865 y hasta 12 GB de RAM con 256 GB de almacenamiento.

El sucesor del smartphone plegable original está casi aquí. Royole presentó el FlexPai a una respuesta mixta en CES 2019, aunque más tarde ganó un premio de diseño Red Dot, al igual que el Scrolling Keybaord de Royole. Avance rápido casi dos años, y Royole está listo para presentar un FlexPai 2.

La compañía ya ha confirmado el horario de su evento "Estrategia y Lanzamiento de Nuevos Productos", que comienza a las 19:30 PDT (UTC-07:00) el 21 de septiembre. Royole retransmitirá el evento en su página web y en el canal de YouTube. El dispositivo ha sido visto en TENAA y en AnTuTu antes del evento del lunes, confirmando varias especificaciones sobre el dispositivo.

Según TENAA, el FlexPai 2 mide 186,2 x 133,8 x 6,5 mm cuando está desplegado y alberga una pantalla AMOLED de 7,8 pulgadas con una relación de aspecto de 4:3. La pantalla también tiene una resolución de 1.920 x 1.440 píxeles, junto a la cual se encuentran cuatro cámaras. Según el listado, son sensores de 64 MP, 32 MP, 16 MP y 8 MP, aunque TENAA detalla qué sensores ha utilizado Royole.

Both the TENAA and AnTuTu confirm that the Snapdragon 865 will power the FlexPai 2, which Royole has complemented with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There will also be a 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage option, according to the TENAA. Both models will feature a 4,450 mAh battery that brings the total weight of the FlexPai 2 to 340 g.

As for the AnTuTu score, it places the FlexPai 2 about 10% shy of the average performance of the Snapdragon 865, of the devices that we have tested to date. However, the score could have been achieved running pre-release software, so we would not read too much into this until retail units have been benchmarked.

The price of the FlexPai 2 is unknown at this stage, but the TENAA confirms that it will launch in Dark Night Black, Magic Gold and Star Grey. Royole will release the FlexPai running Android 10, too.
