El Apple iPhone 17 Pro combina un nuevo diseño unibody de aluminio con una batería más grande, el chip A19 Pro de 3 nm, 12 GB de RAM y un rápido almacenamiento NVMe para dirigirse a usuarios avanzados y profesionales creativos. Su pantalla OLED LTPO Super Retina XDR de 6,3 pulgadas con ProMotion de 120 Hz, brillo extremo y Ceramic Shield 2 es muy elogiada, al igual que la mejora de la temperatura gracias a la nueva refrigeración por cámara de vapor. Las reseñas destacan como puntos fuertes el sistema de triple cámara trasera de 48 MP y la rediseñada cámara selfie Center Stage de 18 MP, en particular el teleobjetivo 4x de 100 mm y las flexibles herramientas de vídeo como ProRes RAW y Apple Log. Elsewhere, improvements to things such as battery life, the anti-reflective coating, and the brightness of the screen are all nice-to-haves, but may not be quite enough to tempt you if you already have an iPhone 16 Pro, and possibly the iPhone 15 Pro. Still, keeping hold of your phone for a number of years is no bad thing.

Yes, I’m in love with the new redesign, how much more flexible it is shooting selfies with its Center Stage camera, the strong performance out of its A19 Pro chip, and how it gets double the storage capacity. If you’re asking me which one I’d recommend between the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, my answer would be for the latter because of the larger display and longer battery life. For the $100 difference, it’s worth the money — whereas in the past, it would’ve been normally a $200 spread between them. You should get the iPhone 17 Pro if you simply prefer a smaller phone without compromising on the camera performance. On the other hand, it certainly has tough competition with phones like the Pixel 10 Pro.

Apple A19 Pro 6-Core GPU: Un adaptador gráfico relativamente rápido con el que viene equipado el SoC Apple A18 Pro. Esta iGPU tiene 6 núcleos y está habilitada para RT; parece que se basa en la misma arquitectura que las GPU de la serie M4. En nuestras pruebas de octubre de 2024, consiguió superar a la GPU Apple M1 de 7 núcleos en muchas pruebas.
Estas tarjetas también deben ser capaces de aguantar todos los juegos actuales, pero la mayoría de ellos en configuraciones de detalles medios y bajos y con bajas resoluciones. Juegos más antiguos, o menos exigentes todavía pueden ser jugados con buena calidad de gráficos.

A19 Pro: Un potente procesador para smartphones y sucesor formal del A17 Pro. Cuenta con 2 núcleos de rendimiento y 4 núcleos eficientes junto con una NPU de 35 TOPS y la GPU A18 Pro de 6 núcleos. El A18 Pro deja bastante atrás al Dimensity 9300, así como al Apple A17 Pro y al Apple A18, con al menos un 10% de ventaja, en lo que a rendimiento multihilo se refiere; mientras tanto, la GPU de 6 núcleos consigue batir a la GPU M1 de 7 núcleos en muchas pruebas.
