AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-66

El AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-66 es un procesador dual core con frecuencia de 2,2 GHz para portátiles. Se basa en el núcleo K8 y ofrece un cache de apenas 512KB de nivel 2 por núcleo (dos núcleos). El TL-66 es parte de los procesadores TL producidos en 65nm con un TDP de 35W.

El rendimiento del Turion TL-66 es comparable con el de un Core Duo con menos frecuencia con cache de 1MB de nivel 2 (por ejemplo, en 3DMark06 CPU y Cinebench 10 Benchmark). Sin embargo, algunos benchmarks como SuperPi se desempeñan mucho peor (vea los benchmarks abajo) y el típico Core Duo con 2,2 GHz tiene más cache de nivel 2.

El consumo de energía comparado con los procesadores Core Duo es notablemente más alto, en promedio, llevando a duraciones de batería más cortas.
