Qualcomm SD 7c Gen 2

El Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 Compute Platform (o SD7c Gen2) es un SoC basado en ARM para portátiles Windows. Integra dos rápidos núcleos Kryo 495 Gold (basados en la arquitectura ARM Cortex-A76) a una frecuencia de hasta 2,55 GHz y seis pequeños núcleos Kryo 495 Silver (ARM Cortex-A55) para lograr una mayor eficiencia energética. En comparación con la generación anterior, las velocidades de reloj han aumentado ligeramente.

Según Qualcomm, el Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 puede ofrecer hasta un 60% más de rendimiento de productividad por vatio en Windows 10 en comparación con los chips Gemini Lake Refresh, como el Intel Celeron N4020 y, en buena medida, el Pentium Silver N5030.

El módem LTE X15 integrado soporta velocidades de descarga Cat.12 (600 MBit/s) y de subida Cat.13 (150 MBit/s). Además, el SoC integra Wifi-5 y Bluetooth 5.0. Además de la tarjeta gráfica Adreno 618, el SoC también integra una NPU Hexagon 692.

El chip está fabricado en 8nm (en comparación con el proceso 7LPP, más moderno, del 8cx) y está destinado al uso en portátiles delgados y ligeros sin ventilador.
