Tiempos de respuesta del display

Los tiempos de respuesta del display muestran lo rápido que puede cambiar la pantalla de un color al siguiente. Tiempos lentos de respuesta pueden llevar a imágenes persistentes alrededor de objetos en movimiento o a displays borrosos. Particularmente los aficionados a los juegos 3D frenéticos deberían usar una pantalla con tiempos de respuesta rápidos.

Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Para atenuar el brillo de pantalla algunos portátiles están encendiendo y apagando la retroiluminación muy rápidamente. Esto se hace a una frecuencia que no debiera detectarse a simple vista. Si la frecuencia es demasiado lenta, la gente sensible podría experimentar problemas visuales, dolores de cabeza e incluso ver parpadeos.
Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM detectado 1000 Hz

La retroiluminación del display parpadea a 1000 Hz (seguramente usa PWM - Pulse-Width Modulation) .

La frecuencia de 1000 Hz es bastante alta, por lo que la mayoría de gente sensible al parpadeo no debería ver parpadeo o tener fatiga visual.

Comparación: 53 % de todos los dispositivos testados no usaron PWM para atenuar el display. Si se usó, medimos una media de 18110 (mínimo: 5 - máxmo: 3846000) Hz.

El Specter x360 15 de 15.6" es un excelente 2-en-1 con suficiente capacidad de procesamiento para manejar incluso las aplicaciones más exigentes. HP dejó intacta la carcasa, pero actualizó el hardware con una CPU Kaby Lake-R más potente y una nueva gráficá básica GeForce. Las grandes noticias son, por supuesto, las mejoras en el rendimiento de CPU y GPU, y aquí el nuevo Spectre supera al predecesor por un amplio margen, al menos cuando la aplicación puede aprovechar los dos núcleos adicionales. Como tal, el convertible con su vívida pantalla 4K, 16 GB de RAM y un SSD PCIe PCIe aún más rápida de 512 GB podría ser muy atractiva para los usuarios que buscan una máquina de productividad que también pueda cumplir con los deberes de los juegos ligeros.

El tiempo de aguante de la batería ha sufrido un poco, pero con un uso juicioso, el Spectre aún durará todo un día de trabajo. De lo contrario, los pros y los contras de nuestro análisis anterior aún se aplican: las bisagras no son lo suficientemente rígidas como para sostener la pantalla de forma segura en todas las posiciones, el panel 4K puede ser excesivo para algunos, especialmente a la luz de los problemas ocasionales de escalado, y un convertible de  15.6" es bastante grande y pesado, lo que podría limitar su utilidad en modo tableta.

 

Después de la actualización solo de hardware, el HP Spectre x360 15t sigue siendo un sólido 2 en 1 y se mantiene como una de las mejores opciones cuando se considera un convertible grande.

 

Los usuarios que no requieran la GPU dedicada y prefieran un mayor aguante de la batería en su lugar también deberían echar un vistazo al Lenovo Yoga 920, que es un poco más pequeño.
