Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Para atenuar el brillo de pantalla algunos portátiles están encendiendo y apagando la retroiluminación muy rápidamente. Esto se hace a una frecuencia que no debiera detectarse a simple vista. Si la frecuencia es demasiado lenta, la gente sensible podría experimentar problemas visuales, dolores de cabeza e incluso ver parpadeos.
Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM detectado 26000 Hz20 % de brillo

La retroiluminación del display parpadea a 26000 Hz (seguramente usa PWM - Pulse-Width Modulation) a un brillo del 20 % e inferior. Sobre este nivel de brillo no debería darse parpadeo / PWM.

La frecuencia de 26000 Hz es bastante alta, por lo que la mayoría de gente sensible al parpadeo no debería ver parpadeo o tener fatiga visual.

Comparación: 54 % de todos los dispositivos testados no usaron PWM para atenuar el display. Si se usó, medimos una media de 8586 (mínimo: 43 - máxmo: 142900) Hz.

Tiempos de respuesta del display

Los tiempos de respuesta del display muestran lo rápido que puede cambiar la pantalla de un color al siguiente. Tiempos lentos de respuesta pueden llevar a imágenes persistentes alrededor de objetos en movimiento o a displays borrosos. Particularmente los aficionados a los juegos 3D frenéticos deberían usar una pantalla con tiempos de respuesta rápidos.

Gracias a su potente hardware, el delgado y elegante Aero 15X logra ejecutar todos los juegos actuales sin problemas con detalles altos o incluso máximos en su pantalla mate FHD. 

A pesar del potente hardware, la duración de la batería es sorprendentemente decente. 

 

A pesar de que el Aero 15X es principalmente un portátil multimedia/gaming, Gigabyte no ha ignorado los escenarios de uso diario. Equipado con un teclado decente, el portátil es capaz de funcionar sin hacer ruido, y resultó ser sorprendentemente portátil gracias a su batería de alta capacidad que logró mantener el portátil en funcionamiento durante 8:11 horas en nuestra prueba Wi-Fi del mundo real.

El rendimiento general del sistema es muy rápido gracias al SSD NVMe reemplazable por el usuario del dispositivo. Se puede instalar espacio de almacenamiento adicional en la segunda ranura M.2, sin embargo, no hay espacio para un disco duro de 2,5". La pantalla FHD mate ofrece ángulos de visión decentes, brillo adecuado y una muy buena relación de contraste. Lamentablemente, los tiempos de respuesta son lentos y podrían ser un poco más rápidos.
