Intel N475

El Intel Atom N475 es un CPU pequeño y económico de nivel básico para Netbooks y pequeños portátiles. En el paquete está un controlador integrado de memoria DDR2 y DDR3 (máx. 2 GB, un canal) y la tarjeta de video GMA 3150. Comparado con el N455, el N475 tiene frecuencia más alta y está especificado para TDP de  6,5 Watts en vez de 5,5 Watts del N455. El N470 ofrece soporte apenas para DDR2.

El rendimiento de todo el sistema (Atom N475 y GMA 3150 integrada) sólo es suficiente para tareas básicas como navegar por la web, o trabajo de oficina. El video HD, edición de video, edición avanzada de fotos y claro, los juegos, pueden sobrecargar el GPU y CPU. Comparado con la anterior generación Atom, se dice que el aumento de rendimiento sólo está marginalmente arriba de un Atom Z / GMA 950 con frecuencia similar.

Una ventaja de la interacción, es el reducido consumo de energía del CPU, GPU y controlador de memoria (TDP de apenas 6,5 Watts). Por lo tanto, el chip es idealmente utilizado en pequeños Netbooks, MIDs, y portátiles delgados.
