 RK3288

El Rockchip RK3288 es un SoC ARM de gama media para sistema móviles Android y Chrome OS. Integra cuatro núcleos Cortex-A12 con velocidad de hasta 1,8 GHz. ARM llama a estos núcleos Cortex-A17 debido a que tienen niveles de rendimiento muy similares. El SoC incluye una GPU ARM Mali-T760 MP4 (también llamado Mali-T764) con velocidad de 600 MHz y un controlador de memoria dual-channel DDR3, DDR3L, LPDDR2, LPDDR3.

El ARM Cortex-A12 es el sucesor del Cortex-A9 y se basa en una micro arquitectura de 32 Bit ARMv7-A. Un solo núcleo A12 debe ser casi 40 % más poderoso que un núcleo A9, según ARM.

El motor de vídeo integrado soporta la codificación de vídeos H.264, VP8, y MVC hasta 1080p. La decodificación es soportada para vídeos hasta 4K H.264 y 10 Bit H.265.

El chip es producido bajo un proceso HKMG de 28 nm.
