Rockchip RK3188
El Rockchip RK3188 es un veloz SoC ARM diseñado principalmente para tablets. Él integra cuatro núcleos ARM Cortex A9 con extensión NEON y una frecuencia de hasta 1,8 GHz, una tarjeta de vídeo Mali-400 MP4 (até 600 MHz, 24 GFLOPS) y un controlador de memoria de baja energía (LP-)DDR2/DDR3. Gracias a las frecuencias, el desempeño de la CPU y GPU es superior al de otros quad-cores Cortex-A9 como el Nvidia Tegra 3 e Samsung Exynos 4412. Estas frecuencias altas son posibles debido al proceso de 28nm (TSMC). Sin embargo, esto resulta en alto consumo de energía y, por eso, no es adecuado para smartphones compactos.
