Intel T4300

El Intel Pentium T4300 (o Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4300) es una CPU de nivel básico para portátiles. Comparada con CPUs Core 2 Duo, el T4300 tiene solo 1 MB de cache de nivel 2 y algunas características de ahorro de energía desactivadas.

Los Procesadores Intel® Pentium® no soportan las siguientes características:

* Tecnología Intel® Virtualization

* Intel® Dynamic Acceleration

* Intel® Dynamic FSB Frequency Switching

* C3E

* Deeper Sleep State (C4)

* Intel® Enhanced Deeper Sleep State

Por tanto el consumo de corriente en modo reposo debería estar un poco por encima de las CPUs Core 2 Duo con velocidad de reloj similar. Además el T4300 no tiene disponible la tecnología de virtualización VT-x.

Debido a la baja velocidad de reloj y a la pequeña cache de nivel 2, el Pentium T4300 limitará el rendimiento para juegos 3D exigentes (p.e. Supreme Commander). Para aplicaciones de nivel basico como office, edición de video SD, procesado de imágenes, Internet y juegos casuales, el T4300 debería ser suficiente.

El Pentium T4300 está basado en el nucleo Intel Penryn y presenta 2 unidades de enteros, 1 de coma flotante, 1 de carga y 1 de almacenamiento en un pipeline de 14 pasos.
