AMD A10-8700P

La AMD A10-8700P es una APU Carrizo de gama media de 2015 para portátiles convencionales. Es un SoC que contiene dos módulos de CPU Excavator  (con 4 integer y 2 unidades FP contadas como 4 núcleos de cómputo), una tarjeta de vídeo Radeon R7 con 6 núcleos de cómputo (384 shaders), un controlador de memoria DDR3-2133 (cTDP de 35 Watts) y un motor de vídeo (incluyendo UVD 6 con hardware HEVC / decodificación H.265).

El rendimiento de los núcleos de CPU y GPU depende del TDP configurable. Este cTDP puede variar entre 12 a 35 Watts dependiendo de la solución de enfriamiento y del tamaño del portátil. Por eso, las velocidades de los núcleos de cómputo variarán. Por ejemplo, la GPU puede marcar entre 1764 puntos (15 Watts) hasta 2359 puntos (+34% con cTDP de 35 Watts) en 3DMark 11 (P). El rendimiento de la CPU con un cTDP de 35 Watts debe estar un poco por encima del de la Kaveri A10-7400P. Si configurada a 15 Watts, la CPU debe ser evidentemente más lenta ya que la velocidad Boost no puede ser mantenida durante largos periodos.
