Apple A14

El Apple A14 Bionic es un System on a Chip (SoC) de Apple que se encuentra en los modelos iPhone 12 y iPad Air (2020). Fue anunciado a finales de 2020 y ofrece 6 núcleos divididos en 2 de rendimiento (Firestorm) y cuatro de eficiencia energética (Icestorm). Apple afirma que el A14 ofrece un 40 por ciento más de rendimiento de la CPU que el antiguo A12 en el iPad Air 2019. Eso debería traducirse en una modesta ganancia de alrededor del 20% en comparación con el Apple A13. El A14 integra una rápida GPU de 4 núcleos y un motor neuronal de 16 núcleos que es capaz de alcanzar un máximo de 11 TOPS. El controlador de memoria es compatible con LPDDR4X y 4 o 6 GB están directamente sobre el chip (package on package - PoP).

El chip está fabricado en 5nm e integra 11.800 millones de transistores.
