 Kirin 9000

El HiSilicon Kirin 9000 es un SoC de alta gama basado en ARM para teléfonos inteligentes y tabletas, que se introdujo con el Huawei P40 Pro. Integra ocho núcleos de CPU en tres grupos. Un único cortex ARM de alto rendimiento - 77 núcleos con hasta 3,13 GHz para un rápido rendimiento de un solo núcleo. Tres núcleos más de rendimiento (misma arquitectura Cortex-A77) con hasta 2,54 GHz y cuatro núcleos de eficiencia basados en la arquitectura Cortex-A55 de ARM con hasta 2,05 GHz. Los 8 núcleos pueden ser usados a la vez (big.LITTLE).

Para la aceleración de la Inteligencia Artificial (NPU), el Kirin 9000 integra la Arquitectura Da Vinci 2.0 (2 * Ascend Lite y 1 * Ascend Tiny). Huawei especifica 8 MB de caché del sistema (muy probablemente compartido para la CPU, GPU y la IA) y puede acceder a la memoria principal LPDDR4X y LPDDR5. El módem integrado de 5G soporta SA&NSA, Sub-6G y mmWave. WiFi 6 incluyendo VHT160 y Bluetooth 5.2 también están integrados en el chip.

El rendimiento de la CPU se encuentra en el nivel superior de los SoC móviles de 2020 y ligeramente por encima del Snapdragon 865+ y a la altura del antiguo SoC Biónico A13 de Apple.

El Kirin 9000 se produce en TSMC en el moderno proceso de 5nm.
