Samsung Exynos 850

El Samsung Exynos 850 es un sistema en un chip (SoC) para teléfonos inteligentes de nivel básico (basados en Android). Fue anunciado en octubre de 2019 y el primer dispositivo con él es el Samsung Galaxy A21s. El chip integra un procesador con 8 pequeños núcleos de Corteza ARM-A55 que registran hasta 2 GHz (núcleo de octava).

El rendimiento multihilo es bastante bueno gracias a los 8 núcleos, el rendimiento de rosca simple sufre un poco por los pequeños núcleos A55, aunque la velocidad de reloj de hasta 2 GHz puede ayudar un poco.

Además, el SoC integra un módem LTE (Cat.7 2CA hasta 300 MBit/s de descarga, Cat.13 2CA 150 MBit/s de carga), un módem Wi-fi 5 (802.11ac), un controlador de memoria LPPDDR4x, un controlador de memoria flash eMMC 5.1 y un motor de vídeo para la codificación y descodificación FHD 60fps (H.265, H.264, VP9).

Se fabrica en el moderno proceso LPP de 8nm en Samsung y debería ofrecer una buena eficiencia energética, por lo que también es adecuado para pequeños teléfonos inteligentes.
