Intel T9600

El Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 es una CPU de doble nucleo y gama alta para portatiles (en el momento de su presentación). Comparado con el más rápito T9900 no soporta el nuevo estado de ahorro de energía C1E. El nuevo Core 2 Duo P9700 ofrece un rendimiento similar pero un TDP más bajo de 25 vatios.

Debido a la mayor velocidad de reloj, el T9600 ofrece suficiente rendimiento para juegos exigentes (en 2009) y aplicaciones.

El T9600 usa un nucleo Penryn que presenta 2 unidades de enteros, 1 de coma flotante, 1 de carga y 1 de almacenamiento en un pipeline de 14 estados. Debido a la Tecnología Wide Dynamic Execution, el nucleo es capaz de ejecutar de forma simultanea hasta cuatro instrucciones.

La tecnología integrada SpeedStep Mejorada es capaz de ralentizar el nucleo de forma dinamica (en reposo)

El Core 2 Duo T9600 puede ser usado en un Socket P con 479 pins.
